WingSide Clinton — Restaurant in Clinton

It was my first time and I am very disappointed to share that these are by far the WORST wings I’ve ever had. Especially considering this place sounds like it specializes in wings based on their name. The wings tasted old, like they had been sitting out for days. The skin and meat were so dry I could barely bite through the meat. I asked others in my party to try them to verify these wings were terrible. Two other people confirmed. They were so bad nobody could even finish a single wing. I called the restaurant to let them know. To see if maybe this was a bad batch. They apologized for my experience and offered nothing else for compensation. I don’t want anyone else to experience how awful and old these wings were. Came in yesterday (06.11.2025) right after closing, they were nice and still let me place an order. Placed an order for a 10 piece bone in combo, flavor hot. The wings were cooked perfectly didn’t have to tell them fried hard. The sauce is so good, and they drench your wings in more than enough sauce, didn’t have to tell them extra wet and that’s what I love! They gave more than enough fries, and they give the option to have them salted or add seasoned salt. I chose seasoned salt and they were delicious. I love this restaurant and each time I have eaten here my food has been fresh with friendly service however my most recent visit this past Sunday night I tried the cheese steak egg rolls and I am honestly not sure if it was the egg rolls or my wings but I got food poisoning and have not been able to eat a full meal in 3 days without being nauseous. Due to this I will not be returning. I didn't finish my order of 10 piece wings or the two egg rolls. I ate half a egg roll and 4-5 wings and had to disregard the rest.
