Arsenio's Mexican Food — Restaurant in Clovis

This place is NOT 24 hours. I use to be. But it isn't anymore. There was time I would have easily given this location a 4 or 5 stars simply because they were always open. You could go Christmas morning and get a burrito.

But now? They don't even have posted hours. Their Open late sign is on when they are closed. Their drive thru light is on when they are closed. We will go one morning at 7 and they will be open. We'll go the same time the same day and whoops...now they're closed. It's like they decide on a whim if they want to be open or not. We've driven by on a Saturday at 10pm and they were closed. Seriously, we're at the point now where we see this place closed more often than open.

Then there have been the times where they are open and no one answers at the drive thru. We'll drive out after waiting figuring it's one of those odd times where they look open but they're actually closed and nope. Someone will be there in the window. I'll stop and say that I was at the drive thru. "Oh, yeah, it's broken." Why no sign? This has happened on more than one occasion.

The only reason I even still bother with this place is because my husband loves their burritos and hopes with all his might he'll be able to get one. But, unfortunately, that just isn't the case most of the time.

I figure they went under new management or something because they also gained quite a few new employees.

(Can you tell yet that we use to be regulars? Well, we aren't anymore. I work nights, this was on of the few places I could get dinner in the morning and now I can't. Such a disappointment. I'd write them directly if I thought it...

Do not waste your time and money. I went the day before 12/13 and placed an order for next day pick up for breakfast burritos. I was told by the associate that took my order that to arrive at 6am sharp so my order could be ready in a timely manner. I arrived at 5:51am and patiently waited for Arsenio's to open up at 6am which their hours state on the door. Time passes and no one opens the door the drive thru is closed nothing. As I was waiting there was another customer outside waiting as well. From this customer I was told "this happens all the time. the cook is always late.' So as time keeps passing and I'm missing my time to be where I need to be. At 6:30am the other awaiting customer and I give up and leave and go elsewhere to get our breakfast situated. After I get my breakfast order handled and I get to my destination I called Aresnios to inquire about my order. The associate proceeds to lie to me and tell me "my order was ready by 6:30 and they apologize that the cook was running behind" That is not true I have a time stamp of my exact location at 6:30am and I was at Aresenios. They even had the audacity to still charge my card after I DID NOT receive my order. Absolutely unacceptable. The associate tries to plea and continue lying saying that it was ready by 6:30am. Once again incorrect. This is not how a business should be run. The operating hours on your door and website say 6am. As a customer that is what I expect. The hours on your door should match the time your doors open and close. The excuse of your chef being late is utterly ridiculous and inexcusable explanation. The nerve of...

I have been a very loyal customer for years, absolutely love the food. The service is good most of the time. My wife and I with our kids eat there about once a week. There is one employee (refused to give me his name), hispanic guy with black frame glasses who is going to run that buisness in the ground. He actually was mad at me because I drove to the window, and asked if he was going to finish taking my order. I was able to order a burrito with him and no reponse after. when I arrived at the window he gave me a total, I explained I needed to order more food but he is not talking over the mic. He actually smerked at me laughed and shut the window on me. Would not come back to the window, staring through the window laughing. It took everything out of me not go inside, after spending so much money with this little resteraunt and refering numerous poeple/customers from my Dealership to go there for good food. I'M DONE!! - I know by the way he just laughed this has happened before just to normal and would like to warn the normal everyday family that this is not the place...
