Welcome to Clovis California. This is our initial visit to Tofas. You can take the food to go or dine in. You place your order at the counter upon entering and then seat yourself if dining in. They then bring the food to your table. Now for my review. I ordered the Shish (lamb) kabob which included grilled bell peppers and onion, rice pilaf, salad, and pita bread. My wife ordered the chicken shawarma, which came with the same items as the shish kabob. As a special treat, the young lady that took our order included some home made hummus. The lamb was cooked perfectly and had a great taste. Mixed with the bell peppers and onion made it outstanding. The warm pita was the topper, dipping it in the freshly made hummus. The salad was fresh and was NOT over-powered or drenched in an overwhelming dressing. The dressing complimented the fresh vegetables and made it refreshing. My wife stated that the chicken shawarma was cooked perfectly, had a great flavor, and the portion was great. The service was very good. The atmosphere was nothing special. It was modern and simple. But of course, I came for the food. Overall, if you enjoy Mediterranean food, I’d highly recommend you give Tofas a try. I’d be curious to hear your thoughts. Have fun! 🤩

This has got to be one of the best Mediterranean cuisine restaurants in town! As you walk in, you will see a spacious locale with clean tables and friendly staff to guide you through the menu. Once you order, your food is brought to your table and you prepare to eat the color and texture balanced plate before you. The chicken shawarma plate was full of flavor from the tender and well seasoned chicken to the perfect blend of oil, vinegar and spices in the salad dressing. The rice and hummus were perfect in texture and also tasted delicious! Even better, the soft music in the background was Christian music. This will be a place that I return to time and again. (My only regret was not taking a good picture of the food before I scarfed it down!)

Not bad location to have a meal wither lunch or dinner. Food is ok, served well I guess. They need to pay extra attention to hygiene and cleanness. Rest rooms need attention. Staff are kind but they need to be more knowledgeable in their menu it took me a while to order and explain to the lady who was there how I want my meal served! Table where I was sitting wasn’t cleaned properly. They need to pay attention to these things, if they want better reputation! In general, not bad!

I’ve been to this restaurant a few times but this past experience will make me never come back. I had phone in an order for pick up, two full Greek chicken salads and a chicken kabob entree. upon pick up there was no receipt given and no sauces for the salad or the chicken that is normally received. I called the restaurant and the kitchen manager Epifano answer. He informed me the cashier has left and that he was the kitchen manager but I would need to call back in the morning. I explained to him that I was upset no sauces were given with the Order and that I wanted a refund. He said to call back in the morning and he will let the day shift manager know. I called back the next day, had to explain my story all over to a new person and was advised I would get a call back from Fatima, the business owner. The day goes by no call. I called back the next day got Noe, the man who took my order and admitted he had forgotten the sauces and apologized and said he just needed to get approval from the manager that he will refund me back. Another day has gone, no call. I again reached back out to the store and was then told Fatima tried to call me. That’s a lie I haven’t receive any calls and I have been only one bugging. I expressed to noe that at this point it’s been going on way to long I want my full refund and that’s it. He assured me that I’d get my refund and that he will inform his manager. I had to work so I sent my sister to only find out they’ve only given me a partial refund. I called back later that day and spoke to a completely new person. she said she’s been out for the week and has no idea what was going on. After explaining my story again, she the said she’d call Tobias the other owner. She called me back and said unfortunately Tobias said in situations such as mine, they don’t ever refund but only give complementary coupons on the next visit. We are sitting at day 4 now and a whole another different story and policy. I was shock to been informed by this employee to file a complaint through corporate because the store is a franchise. Seems to me Fatima and Tobias is running a shady business and would rather avoid the faults of their employees for a buck. No longer supporting shady business. Besides it’s not the only place in town for Greek salads, I’ve had better. Pending for a corporate complaint and a...

First time here and everything went wrong. I walked it at about noon. Expected it to be busy for the lunch hour but didn’t expect there to be only one person doing most of the work. Because it was my first time here I asked her opinion on the plates and she seemed irritated. So I ordered the Chicken Sharwama plate. A group of customers came in and she decided to take everyone’s order while the rest of the food was piling up. At one point a customer got frustrated and noticed her food sitting for over 5 minutes and she decided to get up and get it herself. Meanwhile my order was ready. She decided on taking the order of 3 other guests. My food was sitting there. I honestly felt like simply grabbing it myself (I ordered to go). I walked out of there at 12:25. It took 20 minutes to get my order after it sat there for over 5 minutes. To make matters worst, the food was awful. The chicken was salty, the rice pilaf was burnt. Overall a very- VERY negative experience. Will never come again. Overall the employee was trying her best. Management here should keep a tight staff atleast during...
