I do not drink much sugar for health reasons. I go here a lot for iced lattes and i always get it made sugar free. I called today to let them know that the iced latte I ordered was not made sugar free. I explained I just wanted to let them know because if their bottles aren't marked correctly or not marked clear enough, they could make people sick who don't drink sugar. The girl on the phone did not seem to care. She just said "ok thanks for letting us know" and she sounded annoyed. This is not the first time I have had to complain about something or just let them know something. Each time the employees I have told have sounded annoyed. I am from west Texas area, and I have been to a lot of the HteaO locations. Any of the others have offered to remake the drinks, especially because they made the mistake. This location has never done that. This location is not near as friendly as the rest.
There are 2 girls in the morning around 7-8 that I see who are friendly. The other employees don't seem to be friendly at all, or maybe I just catch them on bad days. Maybe they get rude customers, I don't know. Unfortunately there are not a lot of other options for coffee in this town, but I don't think I will be back...
   Read moreFor anyone else who gets their fish tank top up water (or drinking water) at HTeaO. I highly advise against doing so. This morning I tried to get water to top up my tanks and after testing it realized it has between one and two parts per million of ammonia. I spoke with the owner Tracy and she basically told me that it was customer error and was incredibly unapologetic about it. When I initially called the store they picked up the phone and put me on a counter for 5 minutes without even asking if I wanted to hold and then were combative about the issue before giving ne Tracy's number. I have gotten my water from them for a long time but never again.
Just for note some of my favorite lines from Tracy were, "I would look into it if anyone else had complained" and "people sometimes come in with dirty bottles."
Literally all it would have taken was her saying she's sorry we're having an issue and it would be looked into. Instead she turned it into a customer blaming session and denying responsibility. Terrible...
   Read moreI come in a lot and fill my water jugs here weekly. Today the water station said cash only and I didnât have cash. I went inside and asked the girl up front if she could fill it. She was so nice and said yes, and told me the total was higher than it is outside. So I asked about the price difference (wasnât even a big one, I was just inquiring), so she asked a person I could only assume was the manager or supervisor, who explained the price difference. I stated âoh okay itâs just different outside so I was just askingâ, in a fine tone, wasnât upset at all. The supervisor was not only not personable, but was pretty rude. I have literally left maybe 2 google reviews that were less that 5 stars before in my life, but when a customer has a question and isnât being rude, Iâd hope a supervisor would represent this chain better. This was such a small thing that itâs a bit wild to me that it got this kind of response. The girl who was helping me was so kind and polite. So thank you to her for being great at what...
