Look here Corporate people!!! Quit making the stupid changes in the restaurant. Who takes away sweet tea in Clovis NM? All you had to do was add some kind of professional sticker to your menus to show sweet tea is offered, no one cares if your menu has it on there or not. I ordered a steak and when the server told me the Company took away Worcestershire sauce I told the server I should have my steak taken off my bill and take it off my table and add to the comps. Any smart person knows if you offer steak you need to offer a variety of steak sauces just like any other place that sells steaks does. You previously took away the best tartar sauce of anywhere, and then noticed your Customers did not like that and brought back a tartar sauce that is similar to the original one. Oh and the dragon broccoli, that was the best and you took that away as well. The maple glazed chicken, gone also. Our server mentioned that the salads might go away as well. Shame on you for fixing what is not broke! Good luck not going bankrupt once you take salads away. Let's just please the Shareholders and not the Customers. You already know once your Customers go so does your revenue. Someone is sitting at the top making the worst bottom decisions. I have been a loyal Red Lobster Customer for the last 30 years, I have seen the rather terrible downfall, your Mission statement......
"Our commitment to bringing you the best means that all of the seafood we serve is sourced in ways that are traceable, sustainable, and responsible"
this statement should be taken out back and set on fire, very poor Regional decisions will soon catch up, the unnecessary changes will prove your Organization/Business will ultimately fail!
On a positive note the Staff and Management at Red Lobster in Clovis are the best team, they prove they value their Customers and take pride in what they do despite the set backs and negative feedback they have to hear. They all deserve 5 stars for their continued outstanding service we have always received. This Restaurant has the best Staff anywhere in town! Scott is so much fun and truly cares about his Customers and Employees. I give them 5 stars but unfortunately I give the Corporate people making dumb changes ZERO stars. Shame on whomever decided all these changes we have had to experience and for what?? What kind of credentials, experience and education do these people have making these decisions? I will sadly not be returning as a Customer.
Word of mouth is huge in this town, people are talking Red Lobster, I wish you luck in not regretting the...
Read moreMy husband and I came to Red Lobster, and the first thing we noticed was that there was no hostess. So basically, we just stood there waiting for someone to notice us. We were seated right away since being noticed as the place was empty on a Saturday night. Maybe that should have been a sign..... We ordered our drinks and apps, and everything came as normal and was fine. But we were never given any straws. Waited 20 mins for the waitress to come back around to ask for straws, but she never did, so I had to ask another waitress passing by. Our meal arrived, and my husband's meal was all messed up. A chunk of his lobster tail was missing, 2 of his sides never came, 1 order of shrimp Alfredo that he didn't order, and his steak was severely undercooked. Where's my waitress??? Good question who knows. Had to ask the manager that was passing by to please fix the issues. He's said, " What would you like me to do?" Yeah, he actually said that. Ultimately, he ended up comping our whole meal. By the end of the meal, all I wanted was a to go box and again had to ask another waitress for it bc my waitress still never came back. The customer service here is severely lacking.
Lobster way over cooked and a chunk missing Steak severely undercooked Cheddar bay biscuit very very dry Shrimp Alfredo very bland and barely and Alfredo sauce on it.
For the prices you charge Red Lobster, this place...
Read moreI love that the all you can eat shrimp is available every day now, and they've increased the first plate options to 3 shrimp choices rather than 2 and 2 sides rather than 1. I only wish that, on refills, you could order more of the sides as well because their broccoli is AMAZING!
UPDATE 4/27/23: The AYCE is now $25, ONLY on Mondays, and they've gone back to only 1 side, which still isn't AYCE as well! It's extremely disappointing, because the sides are much cheaper than the shrimp and could fill you up quicker, which would save them $$$ in the long run.
Today, I had their fried fish special.
With the grilled shrimp, you do continue to get the rice as well, but I prefer the rice they used to have. I believe it had quinoa in it as well, but you didn't get more with the extra orders, only the shrimp.
UPDATE 12/12/23 With the Ultimate Shrimp (now $25), you get 3 shrimp choices, but they did decrease the sides back to 1 choice. You may add a salad for $1.99, but they also have an option to add a salad or clam chowder and a Pepsi product for $5 more. With the grilled shrimp, the rice that comes with it is a smaller portion, and you no longer get the rice when ordering more. If you don't want the unlimited, you can order 2 shrimp choices for $17 or 3 shrimp choices for $20, both with 1...
