If I could put zero stars I would. While visiting there 6/9/17 I came in around 1130 wasn't that busy in fact I heard the server telling another table they just started to slow. While waiting for my order I heard things that frightened me as a customer. I heard my server asking for sauerkraut from the kitchen for another guest. They told her they didn't have any and she asked if they were being serious they said they were then another server informed them they had sauerkraut I'm the back. The kitchen and server then began arguing back and forth with the server if they had it. Finally the kitchen said we are out we have it but we are out. All of this was within ear shot I could hear the entire conversation clearly. Then my server asked about an order that was supposed to have extra onions that the customer was paying for the kitchen told her yes she then said it doesn't look like it the kitchen then grabbed the plate and threw on a big pile of onions and said is that better. All of this again I could hear clearly. The straw that broke my back here was when I noticed all of the kitchen members standing still doing nothing with no tags and me still waiting on my food I polity asked if there was a problem before the server said the tag must have been lost and the kitchen would have it right out. I could not even turn around when I heard the server tell the kitchen and I quote "can you hurry up that table is complaining because another table that came in after them got there food already" I went to the front told them I'd pay for the drink but they could keep there food and terrible service. Read moreI was not going to post anything but as I thought about it some more I decided I should, I was very let down today by your service. Let me start by saying this is one of my favorite restaurants in Clovis. I have had no issues in the many times I've come in until today. We stopped at about 11 for brunch. They were not busy to our surprise. We sat outside by choice. We were seated fast and got drinks fast. We picked what we wanted fast but it took a long time to get our orders taken. The server that finally took our order said he'd be back with more coffee. No one refilled our coffees until our food came. They had our orders correct but when my hubby got to his biscuits and gravy he complained his biscuits we cold in spots then he found a large black hair baked into the biscuit. He alerted the waitress right away she apologized and stated she was going to show the manager. She also offered to make him a new one but his appetite was gone. At the time she left with the biscuits to "show the manager" we asked for our check and a box for my food. We waited another 10 min or so and our original server came and asked how our food was and was going to give our check. He had no idea I guess that we found a hair in the food. It felt like they hadn't planned on doing anything about the hair in the food and were just going to sweep it under the rug. We had to tell the story a second time. Read moreAs much as we love this place and the food, we are slightly disappointed in the inconsistency of service. We wanted to place a large order for a company breakfast. Knowing that we didn't want to put an unexpected strain on the staff, I attempted to place my order the day before to give plenty of notice. I was informed by Jacob that I could not place my order until the morning of. I explained that I was hoping for an early pick up time and that I didn't think calling a half an hour in advance would give the cooks enough time. He assured me that it would and directed me to call at 7 am the morning I needed the food and they could have it ready by 7:30 am. I again asked if he was certain and he said yes. Well, morning of I call right at opening and ask about placing the order for 15 people and I am told by a different gentleman (who was super kind) that they won't be able to have an order of that size ready until 9 am. I informed him of the previous day's conversation and he said that I should have been able to place an order in advance and wasn't sure why I was declined.
