Paddy Cassidy's Irish Pub — Restaurant in Cocoa Beach

So went to this bar hoping for a relaxed normal atmosphere being from out of town. Now may I mind you I live only 2 hrs away from this location. All was good till end of night where locals at bar stated "that were closed get the f out" ...I'm not one to ever allow customers control the atmosphere, however,these girls felt the needed to control what seemed to be that the bartender could not.i felt threatened by the negativity and overall hatefulness towards paying patrons of the bar. Need I tell you that there was several other patrons that felt the inappropriateness of the overall atmosphere and left leveling there cocktails behind. To end this most amazing night the bartender felt the need to call the cops, although she had what felt like fake call and only did it to protect the locals... Avoid this place at all cost, as most Irish pubs are welcoming this place is lack luster with...

I discovered this place when I saw a schedule for a bagpipe band. So I came to check it out. I read some reviews before I visited, seeing things like "bad service" and "not a real Irish pub". I didn't have a problem with the service. I visited in the late afternoon and it wasn't busy. Of course it's not a real Irish pub. This is the USA, not Ireland. Not a bad selection of beers. This is the first place in this area where I saw Pilsner Urquell. That alone is worth five stars. Irish beer selections were as you'd expect. Unfortunately, they didn't have any food. Well, not any "real" food. Just appetizer-type microwaveable food from what I could see on the small menu. I didn't try any. Here's a suggestion/request to the owner: get some Czech Budweiser (Czechvar) or Hofbrau Original and Old Speckled Hen on tap. Went in there by myself on my birthday as a single guy from Ohio, was waiting for my friends, and got instantly heckled by some of the locals to buy their tab and tried to just ignore them and brush it off but they insisted that I buy them drinks so I just left. We waited an hour and called at 1:40 and called to make sure they were open because it says they were until 2, and she said “NO” and hung up the phone on me. I called back and asked if the phone got disconnected after she answered and wondered if there was anywhere else open until 2 or later and she just hung up on me again. Apparently she wanted to just go home, horrible vibes from this place. Don’t go here if you’re not a local.

Thank you for apologizing for your guests that you have no control over but not your own staff. Clearly I’m upset by the way I was treated by your staff as well, not the laws...
