Have been here twice now and have to say, Thomas and Jenn knocked it out of the park here. The first time was right after they opened, we went for an early dinner, the second when they announced Brunch. They have two separate bars and two sets of beer taps. There is even a separate back room with bar for events and parties. My boys and I are allergic to shellfish, but we were excited for the other options. My wife excited for what she can have. For the dinner, we went with a friend who works for Cheney Bros and supply some of the goods. First I had the wings, which were pretty good. Myself and my boys ordered the 16oz Australian Ribeye. My wife ordered the lobster roll. Our friend was describing this Cheney Bros supplied 1600 degree broiler they got for the steaks. Man, Thomas was right the steaks were perfect. Now, we like steaks at Djon's Steak and Lobster, and at Disney Boathouse, The Yatchsman Steakhouse, but this is right down the road and local and this steak was just as good if not better! The lobster rolls were off the charts, it was even suggested they weren't charging enough for them with the amount of what was in them. I also tried one of the mixed drinks and a shooter, both very good. Then, they announced Brunch, so we went with some friends after church (being they were opening at 10am. I had every intention of getting breakfast, but there were lunch items on the menu and the steak Sandwich tempted me. The boys had been wanting to try The Prime Burger. My wife went for the Wedge salad and Lobster roll. Our friends went with the grouper sandwich and lobster roll. I was kind of wondering about the steak sandwich description, usually they are shaved Ribeye, but that wasn't what it said. I was surprised when it came out it was a piece of tenderized steak. It was awesome. The boys loved the burgers, again everything perfectly cooked. My wife enjoyed her salad and those having the lobster roll were delighted. Our friends said the grouper sandwich was great. This time I had a couple IPA's. The beer selection, price mimic what they have at The Birch. Overall, a fantastic place, outstanding food and service. They have done away with brunch, but are open at noon for...
Read moreThis is the best addition to cocoa village!!! We had the Percil oysters, and they were so clean and fresh, perfect start to an amazing dinner. The lobster bisque is one of the best I have ever had. Smooth, creamy, and oh so yummy. It was like a warm hug on the inside. Snow crabs were absolutely 💯 delicious, steamed to perfect, melt in your mouth. Comes with choice of 2 sides. We had their steak fries and Brussel sprouts. We had some lobster bisque left and began dipping the fries in it. Omg you must try this. We washed the meal down with an Irish mule made by Steven!!! Steven was our bartender and server! I can't say enough about him! Very knowledgeable, super friendly, great smile, awesome bartender, and attentive. Oysters shooters is a must try restaurant for all. If you love seafood you will not be disappointed! And don't forget to say hi to Steven! Oh, and the best part....the shells from the oysters you eat at this restaurant will be used to create habitats for living oysters in the Indian River Lagoon. You can ask your server for more information.
So I just recently went back to oyster shooters for a date night, and let me tell you. The food was once again on point. Consistence is the key to a good restaurant. The oysters are so fresh, and I tried 5 different kinds. The lobster bisque was better than I remembered. The crab cake is all crab with little to no filler. We had an amazing bartender name, Tim! He is such a bright light! I can not tell you how much I love this place. If you haven't been, run, don't walk. Oh, I forgot the pompano blackened is amazing with the...
Read moreWhat's to say first, it's definitely hole in the wall feel from outside, seems not that inviting but generally that draws my self into places more. inside it's definitely a nice restaurant feel, simple, bright colors and friendly staff.
Our server Maya was attentive and definitely friendly, she wasn't pressuring or pushy for anything. We ordered quite a bit but definitely enjoyed all of it.
I Personally got the Connecticut lobster roll with steak Fries, My wife got the Calamari Caesar wrap and roasted potatoes, it really was very good and definitely a nice take on a Caesar wrap.
our other friends had gotten the lobster roll as well with the rice, and the the seafood alfredo pasta. surprisingly, the Alfredo sauce was a very good texture. not too liquidy but not too thick either, the infusion of blue crab flavoring or pieces I should say, was a nice touch along with the scallop and shrimp in it as well. sauteed well and definitely made from scratch, the sauce itself was very reminiscent of Red lobster cheddar bay biscuits, surprisingly so it was a nice familiar taste but much better overall.
back to the lobster roll, it was definitely a lightly glazed lobster bits with with a deep, buttery flavor, along with a nice coating on the e-roll itself, the roll seemed to be a brioche so it was a nice sweet break from the lobster taste, but a beautiful mixture of texture and taste in this low key establishment.
definitely would...
