I regret to say that my experience with this establishment was extremely disappointing. I initially placed an online pickup order, but later realized that the location was much farther from my place. I immediately attempted to contact them to inquire about cancellation or the possibility of picking up at another store. To my dismay, my repeated calls, totaling almost 20 attempts, went unanswered over the following 2.5 hours.
Seeking assistance, I reached out to customer service, but to my surprise, they were unhelpful and unwilling to accommodate my request for a refund or any alternatives. Despite this frustrating situation, I decided to make my way to the location approximately 2.5 hours later, hoping to retrieve my order. Unfortunately, upon arrival, I discovered that my order had not even been prepared.
Adding to my disappointment, the manager neither greeted me nor offered any apology or explanation for the mishap. The staff seemed uninformed and indifferent to my concerns, unable to explain why their phone was persistently busy.
To make matters worse, upon reviewing my order, I found that 6 out of the 14 ordered hush puppies were missing. The food itself was plain and unremarkable, lacking any distinctive flavor or appeal. The only positive aspect was the generous portion size.
What further adds to my frustration is that the cost of the items pictured in their menu exceeded $40, but the actual food I received fell far short of the expected quality and taste.

She was exceptional—professional, empathetic, and genuinely committed to making things right. She listened to my concerns, took full responsibility for what happened, and assured me that steps would be taken to improve the service. Her dedication to maintaining the highest standards for both the restaurant and the community is clear, and it’s the kind of leadership that’s rare to find. Because of Ms. Christina, I will absolutely continue returning to this location, confident that future visits will be much better. College Park needs more leaders like her!
Terrible Customer Service Experience I just visited the Captain D’s on Main Street on September 30th, and the customer service was absolutely unacceptable. I pulled into the drive-thru around 7:30 PM and was the only car in line. After a rude “hold on a moment” from the person on the intercom, I sat waiting for nearly 30 minutes — yes, 30 minutes — before anyone responded again. When I finally started placing my order, the employee apparently got frustrated and just stopped responding. I pulled up to the window only to be told she “put her headset down.” Completely unprofessional. There are plenty of people who would be happy to have that job. The employee taking orders in the drive thru continuously screamed at me through her headset talking about the orders inside the store and how she doesn’t get paid enough while working both the front and the drive thru. She asked for my order multiple times and then told me to hold on and to repeat it at least 3 times. When I got to the window she asked me did I place my order! Then after I paid I pulled up and waited outside for 20 min.
