If I could do 0 stars, I would. I usually go here only because it’s the only place to get baked goods and coffee, but I can no longer give my business to a sub-par company with terrible customer service. I ordered a sweet green tea and two cheese danishes. The oven was “broken” although that’s not their fault, still would’ve been nice to know well before paying. The cashier was very confused with me asking for an iced green tea, and then the other female behind the counter assured me that they had it and asked me “sweet or unsweetened?” I said sweet and iced, payed, and waited for my food.
I went to the bathroom next door and came back to her saying that my drink was on the counter but it was a regular iced tea. She ended up going back and forth with me on saying how I asked for a sweet tea (when we both specifically pointed to the green tea and coffee confirmed I wanted ice). I stayed calm because it’s really not that big of a deal and it can be easily fixed, but they both ignored me, and the. Ended up storming out saying “I’m going to go speak to my supervisor!” I wasn’t bothered because I thought at least someone with a higher pay stub would understand and would let the shift worker know to just make the damn tea. She then came back, ignored me, and gave me a HOT GREEN TEA. Mind you it’s hot af and I never wanted a hot drink, so I’m over here sweating and burning my hand on a drink I didn’t want. I asked, “are you able to just Give me a cup of ice because I ordered an iced drink in the first place?” And she said with a very stank attitude “that’ll be 64 cents because you ordered a green tea”. Really? We’re gonna be petty about this? I was so annoyed and had to go board my plane, so I just took the tea, but still I don’t understand why it was as big of a deal or how she was able to mix up my order from hot to cold so quickly. Maybe she didn’t get a lot of sleep or she’s bitter about having to work at the airport at 6AM. Either way, I don’t appreciate how this was handled and the food sucks already so it’s not like I had much to keep me there anyway. Hate this place, hate the service, but I’d like to add that I was nice to whole time.
Make the extra trip to Starbucks because they would fix it in a heartbeat if there was something wrong.
Sooo basically I’m never going here again and would rather starve than give my time, money, and business to a place that does not value me...
Read moreI will not be returning to this place (Harvest & Grounds) now will I be recommending this place to my husband when we have a layover here. We usually go to Starbucks but try to support smaller businesses when possible. This was my first time getting coffee & a bagel at this spot. For two simple items, I got the worst customer service which made me feel like never returning. A note to the employer/boss - A smile and good customer service goes a long way. I hope this message is relayed to the employee’s. I stood in line for 15 minutes watching both employees giving zero star quality customer service. The lady making the coffee at 8:15am on 4/1 gave everybody attitude and had no desire to make eye contact with any customers. I ordered a double espresso and when she called my order I asked her if I could have a side of whole milk and she gave me the same attitude she gave the customers before me saying “you have to pay at the register for that” - I responded “I just ordered this double espresso, do you not offer dairy options to top off the black coffee drinks?” Modern looking place that is nice to look at but I strongly discourage people from this place if you’re looking to get a side eye...
Read moreI gave this place such low score because of my experience with the girl at the register this morning. First, I saw how she dismissed the young lady in front of me because she was asking for a receipt. She started taking the young man behind the young lady while she was still at the counter. I walked up and she was looking into the hallway over my head and asked for my order. I asked her several times are you talking to me and she stated, I don't have to look at you to take your order. We shared words and she told me she was refusing to serve me and started taking the lady behind me order. I said, she was acting stupid and she said, I didn't know who I was talking to as if she was going to handle me. I asked for the manager's information. A young man went and got a manager and the general manager. They handled me professionally. Pulled her off the register. The GM said she had just gotten to work. Imagine that! They gave me my food at no cost. This what should be expected when you encounter bad service anywhere. Please if you don't want to serve the public, never take a service job!!! Please and...
