Lucky Goat Coffee - Jones Crossing — Restaurant in College Station

After living in London, England for a few years, I really grew to love Flat White coffees. They became the standard in which I judge all coffee shops. I can finally say we have a REALLY GOOD flat white in College Station! It took me right back to London!

I have tried two of their drip coffees and loved the Mountain Goat. The single origin I had was really good too, but I cant remember what it was. So tasty!

I am not as into the sweet stuff as much, but my fam really likes the Summer Sips. The Orange Blossom Latte is the favorite, and I think the Yuzu Sparkling one comes in second for them.

The food is good. Wish there was more options, but I know they just opened and are getting started.

The atmosphere is nice. Tons of natural light and a great outdoor space. If you have kids, there is a gated playground they can play on while you sip your flat white.

The owners are really sweet! Got to meet them on opening day and see them working with their team behind the counter. I made it my mission to talk to the young men taking my order and the barista - who were all really lovely!

This is what BCS has been missing! The simple vanilla latte is delicious. We also tried the cinnamon rolls and they were so soft! The main reason we decided to try this place was because we wanted somewhere my daughter could play while I got a coffee. Wasn’t sure what to expect but both the playground and latte were amazing! I was able to sip on my coffee and my daughter had the best time at the playground. Playground does get a little hot but it has partial shade and once fall comes around we will def be stopping here more often to sit outside in their patio area. They have giant ceiling fans which also help keep you cool. Really liked that they also play music outside in the patio area....

This place is a must-visit for coffee lovers! On my first visit, I ordered a single origin drip coffee, and the barista kindly asked if I preferred it in a mug or a paper cup. It really shows how much they care about the details, and that means a lot to me! At the very top of the menu, you’ll see their cold brew, and let me tell you, it’s absolutely mind-blowing! It’s so smooth and sweet, it could easily become anyone’s favorite. There are a few great spots for coffee in CS, but Lucky Goat stands out as both stylish and truly expert in their craft. I can’t wait to come back and try more...
