Tao Rice Roll — Restaurant in College Station

We had an Uber Eats, so no idea about service or atmosphere but the food was made quick an arrived hot so that's something. We got two beef rice rolls, soup dumplings, an scallion pancakes. We didn't take any before pictures an now it's just empty packages (except a pancake I got full). The rolls were a little unbalanced but overall really good as far as flavor, an a decent size. The pork floss was crunchy, the beef was tender, an the egg was so good. We didn't have a fried bread stick in either (basing off the menu pictured, the stuff on Uber Eats didn't have a description). My fiance had the soup dumplings an he said they were delicious, including the dipping sauce. The scallion pancakes were crisp an full of scallions. Will definitely suggest this to other people an eat there again, probably in person when our schedules allow it

I came in around lunch time giving it a try. I was told to wait 10 min for the order which seems ordinary to me. They started to work on my order 15 min after I placed it considering there was noone around. There was only one couple eating at the time I ordered. Obviously I didn’t know if they had any take out orders behind but from the look, noone was moving in the back. They took 15 min to work on my order and another 20 min to get my order out. The food is a breath of fresh air for College Station! The soup dumplings were amazing and I will go back only for those. The pancake was good! Not my favorite, but yummy. The noodle soup was also very simple, but well seasoned and very tasty as a result. It’s different cuisine than our American-ized food. This one is definitely leaning on the authentic side.
