Firehouse Subs Aggie Central — Restaurant in College Station

Great store environment! Greeted at the door, tables were clean, workers and work area was clean (I always look over the counter). I got the Philly and the brisket smalls, which are priced affordably, and was happy with the sandwiches. The meat and bread was warm and the cheese melted, but it was not toasted, so it tasted like a baked sub. I don't always like my bread crunchy. Subway you have to request toasting and Jersey Mike's sandwiches aren't warmed up at all.

I really like the sandwich selection. The Italian didn't have cappacuolo meat like Jersey Mike's, it was more like Subway's Spicy Italian. Firehouse is the only one that has a corned beef sub (no sauerkraut) and a nice variety of turkey subs, for those dieting! Firehouse is very different than Subway, Jimmy-Johns, and Jersey Mikes. Don’t order from here. Ordered on Uber eats and then an hour passed before they finally cancelled my order and six drivers were unassigned. When we called they lied to us and said they can’t cancel the order themselves and also can turn off the order system, which as someone who’s worked with one I know that’s false. They said they would provide the number for the owner for me to speak to, but that was also a lie and they told me they wouldn’t do that either. If the owner isn’t a crook he’ll respond to this with his personal phone number for me to call so this issue can be solved. It’s completely unacceptable and the fact they lied to me multiple times just shows they don’t care about their customers or people who’ve already paid for food. If I don’t hear from them I’ll be filing a complaint...

My twins just went in there to spend their birthday money. When they inquired how much the beverages were the employee responded sarcastically "They're expensive". When my boyssat down to enjoy their meal the same employee interrupted them saying that "BTW we close at 9 and the police start showing up here". Why did he say this to my 12yo boys? They weren't doing anything wrong. It was obvious he wanted them to take their food and leave. This was their first outing now that they are old enough and they came home very disturbed by this guy's behavior. And looking through the other reviews I think I know exactly who we're dealing with.
