Rude staff. rude manager. I have never imagined this ever happening in my life. I dined there several times before. But today I ordered food for the whole family and two sodas for me and my wife only. Right after we set to the table, my 8 yrs kid asked for some soda from my wife so she give her a little in a small cup. The waiter came and told me not to use small cups for drinks and gave me an empty cup so I took it and apologized. Suddenly a second person comes in and grabs the small cup with half of my wife's drink shouting that it's not allowed. Till this point none of us even touched any of our drinks let alone refill them so I went to the counter to get my wife's drink back to find the cashier grabbing the cup angrily taking the rest of her drink away. I was shocked. I asked the cashier to cancel my order and charge me with the drinks so I can leave. All of a sudden the second person comes back in again saying " I was born and raised in America and I know how to deal with him." Then talking to me "I don't know what country you came from but this is America and stealing isn't acceptable! Get out of the restaurant or I'll call the police!" I asked him to please call the police! He kept shouting about how I'm "stealing" and "the country I came from" for a while. While waiting for the police he comes in to talk about how I violated "the restaurant's policy by giving some of my own drink to my daughter" which is "stealing" but "he will let it go and not press charges"!! I have never did or said that it's "Ok to REFILL one drink and share it with everyone" at any point. He describes shouting at me and my family and calling us stealing and kicking us out as if we are lowlife criminals as "issue being resolved CIVILY"!! I don't know how being insulted like this is Ok at any level. If anyone knows how can I file a complaint of some sort about this insulting treatment, please...
Read moreI recently ordered the Chicken Fillet Kabob (6) and Falafel (12), and I was extremely disappointed. The kabob was raw inside, which is not only unacceptable but also a serious health risk. On top of that, it was completely lacking in flavor. The falafel was no better—bland, with no seasoning or salt, as if they had forgotten the spices altogether.
Don’t be misled by the number of positive reviews. After eating here, I looked again and realized many of those reviews must be from people who are not familiar with authentic Mediterranean or Persian cuisine. This restaurant is serving subpar food under that label, and it’s very misleading.
Please save your time, money, and health—this place is not worth it at all. Thanks

Let me be very clear: the chicken was undercooked, and I know what I was served. I forced myself to eat it only because I had already paid for it and didn’t want to throw it away—not because it was enjoyable. It was unsafe and unpleasant, period.
Your response shows more energy in denying and defending than in admitting that mistakes can happen. Calling my review “inaccurate” is insulting. Customers don’t sit around inventing stories about raw chicken—we write reviews based on what was actually put in front of us.
And about the flavor—don’t hide behind the word “authentic.” Authentic Mediterranean and Persian food is rich, bold, and flavorful. What you served was bland and careless. Using the name of a cuisine while serving food that doesn’t represent it is misleading to customers.
My experience was real, my review is honest, and dismissing it only makes your...
Read moreI've been going to Shiraz since I was in college (~10 years ago) and it is still my favorite destination in all of CS. Their kabob platters are outstanding along with a substantial helping of rice and vegetables. As someone who doesn't enjoy eating tomatoes on their own, I feel strange saying that the tomatoes that come with the food are one of my favorite parts of the platter! The bread that they prepare is authentic and great along side of any of the sides (Their Tzaziki and Hummus are outstanding). I've been getting the Prince's Platter for as long as I can remember (a mixture of chicken and beef), but am a huge fan of their Khoreshteh Gheymeh (kind of a Persian soup of sorts) as well on days where I'm feeling like something lighter. Finally, their tea and coffee makes me miss the stuff I got when I lived in Qatar and is pretty authentic as well. I honestly can't say enough about this place (and quite frankly... I'm sad Im only just now realizing I haven't made a review).
I'd also be remiss to fail to mention that the family that owns the business is simply the best. I count Afshan as a friend, as he is always eager to make my lunch / dinner there as good as it can be. Almost like clockwork he offers me tea as I finish my meal, and once or twice, has even sat down with me to talk when business was slow enough to do so. The rest of the family is just as nice and is always welcoming.
If you're looking for a Persian / Mediterranean / Middle Eastern dining experience, I highly recommend Shiraz Shish Kabob as my favorite...
