We generally love painting with a twist at all of the locations we have visited in Louisiana. However our attempt to but the one at College a Station TX was a massive failure with no solution. My 11yr old daughter requested we as a family do this for her birthday (because she has had so much fun in previous experiences) so a month in advance I booked our party. I received confirmation email and a link for others to RSVP and etc. I provided my credit card info via phone… all steps where taken and the party was set. Upon arrival- we were told there was no record of our event. The teacher was there for a party arriving an hour AFTER our scheduled time. She couldn’t provide a solution. She called her boss, the owner, she also had no solution. At first she claimed to have never known about the event. I showed all the emails and links to the teacher on site. After about 20 mini the owner calls back to tell me not only did SHE delete the event herself but she had no way to schedule us as it was with 6 people already present for said “party”. The event scheduled in an hour too. Covid- being in the middle of a pandemic was all she kept saying no teacher available etc etc. we’ve been dealing with Covid for two years now. If you don’t have a “pandemic solution” you need to not be open for business. She couldn’t come teach the class herself because she was working at another business of hers. No offer of a gift certificate, no offer of at home kits, no offer of I made a mistake let me make it right given by the owner Kim- who has apparently been the owner for 12YRS swore and this had NEVER happened. I had an 11 yr old there on her birthday awaiting a great time and KIM did not care at all. I told her I understood the error however I needed a solution and she literally said well I just don’t have one! I don’t know how she has stayed in business for 12YRS with such disregard for her clients. I get sick employees, I do not get no apology and no solution for an error you as a business owner made. I make mistakes- all humans do- but when running a business- you’ve got to offer more than I just do t know what happened or how...
Read moreWe had a candle making class at 5:30 before the painting at six we showed up at 5:30 and the doors were locked so we waited in our car. We saw the painting instructor walk in at 5:40 we tried following her in but she had already locked the door behind her the moment she stepped in. So we knocked, knowing that we had a 5:30 pm appointment and triple checking our confirmation email. So we waited in our car another 20 min until 6pm. When we came in we mentioned that we had the 5:30 appointment for candle making and she had the audacity to say that she only stepped out for a second and that she must have been in the back or something not to hear us and repeatedly talked about her low blood sugar rather aggressively rather than apologising or taking accountability for ruining my birthday activity. It put a huge damper on our night. Then she said it would take 10 days to get a refund and could not provide us with any confirmation on the matter.
