As much as I love the concept of BRCC, an experience today will prevent me from ever returning to the Colleyville store! I ordered a Medium Iced Jet Fuel and the young woman taking my order asked me if I wanted half & half with my $5.95 drink, and I said yes, not really processing that there was already enough stuff in there w/out it. So she then rings me up and says it’s $7.79?!? I immediately ask why it isn’t $6.32 and she said there was a $1.50 charge for the half/half?!? I look up on the board and nowhere is there to be found any reference to half and half being an upcharge?! Needless to say I was not pleased 🤨 She then gets flustered when I ask that the erroneous extra charge be deducted, at which point she goes in the back to get her boss. He proceeds to come out and tries to justify the extra charge, at which point I tell him it was a bait & switch and imma leave without the drink. He immediately jumps to the side and starts making my drink and says I don't need to pay more than my $5 BRCC Gift Card, at which point he finishes my drink and I add two $1's and head for the door, never to...
Read moreI was excited to see a BRCC pop up in Colleyville since I was familiar with the brand and have bought their coffee to brew at home.
This morning (8/21/23) was my first time to visit this BRCC location (or any BRCC location).
I was planning to get coffee here then food at Panera. No need for that though. When I pulled through the drive thru, I saw they had a full food menu!
I got a hot latte, bacon, egg & cheese croissant, & a coffee cake. The quality of every single one of those items was 5 stars (ate it all before I got home 😂).
You can just tell when you’re eating & drinking a quality product vs eating something cheap that was just sitting under a warmer. I can tell you that you won’t be disappointed with the quality of the food here - it is incredible. The latte was also delicious.
The customer service I received from the guy in the drive thru (early 20’s white guy with a tattoo) was also 5 stars (respectful, cared about his job, timely).
Lastly, the prices are reasonable.
This is my new favorite coffee & breakfast spot and I will...
Read moreSadly, I cannot buy specialty coffees (such as cappuccinos, lattes, and mochas) at this coffee shop because they refuse to use 2% milk which is the only kind of milk to use or it will taste bitter from using whole milk, drab from skim milk, and off from oat or whatever milk. I kept telling them and they kept shrugging and blaming it on their vendor. I don’t know what kind coffee shop would get a vendor that doesn’t provide them 2% milk but I got my answer. This one. It seems they don’t bother drinking their own drinks they sell because nobody likes bitter or tasteless coffee. You’ll see in other comments people saying their mochas and lattes tasted bitter. That’s because they use whole milk. It flat out doesn’t work for steaming milk and tastes gross. One time they offered to use syrup to offset the taste. I don’t put sugar in my coffee and strive to keep sugar out of my diet. I’m just really bummed because they are local, I’m a veteran, they have great pup cups for dogs, and I’m tired of the random weirdos working...
