I would not recommend anyone to shop at this store!! The best way to put it Market Street is like our government. When our government is up to know good they put other things out thier to try and fool us with thier so call magic tricks. The golden rules was manager and the store Director always told us these customers have lots of money and sale them and thing u can. They told us the rich people are always rude because they know money talk and bullshit walk .We were told to say the food was great even if we knew it was not. A lot of employees even mangers didn't wish thier hands in the rest room. They come to thier department and go to work as if they hands would become clean with out warter or hand soap.A lot of people that worked thier or work thier now will not tell the truth. It's like a gang click !! Ether u are in it or be a out cast and understand what u see or hear u don't know what is going on everything is great if u want your job and more work our. I worked in the lunch meat deli and we was being made to change the date on the older meats and place newer date on them. John lewis was the one that told us we had to do that. A lot of employees that work in that department said we was going to go speak to the HR MANGER thier. Guess what people I was the only that went and told HR what was going on!!! OMG thier was a target placed on my head like a buck deer opening season hunting!!!!! I was let go buy the company and they marked me as a problem employees. I had the top customer service in the whole store. I worked very hard on doing what was right and I was place into Market Street magazine 2times. But because I didn't want to give our customers out of date meat they company let me go. The Bores Head launch me. Now people look at some of the problems Bores Head luch meat have today on the news.I would rather do what is right ing Jesus Christ and our Heavenly Farther eye's, because they see everything we do!!! So if I had to lose my job for doing right it is all good. God tells us to treat people right. I am not perfect and I have made mistakes in my past!! A Wiseman will learn from his mistakes, but a fool will never change thier ways!! May Our Heavenly Farther and Jesus Christ bless everyone to have a awesome and safe your with great blessing coming down from heaven on every one!! Please know that I had great customer and I really do thank you for treating me like a real person and coming to my wedding. The customer that was not able to come to my wedding thank u as well because u all helped me understand the meaning of having a respectful marriage and to be honest with the person God given to you on earth. Yes , thank you in the name of Jesus Christ for taking the time to teach me!!! That is what I call the real love or friendship and the real love of Jesus Christ!!!! The good Heavenly Farther and Jesus Christ and u have help me enjoy may marriage and I have been married 13 years!!! Yes , I do understand that marriage is not always perfect. But u have to work as a team and keep a open mind and be slow to getting upset. It is worth every...
Read moreMarket Street in Colleyville Texas is a large grocery store that sells quality foods, vegetables, wines, cheeses, and pretty much anything you can think of! They have consistent and convenient hours of operation from 6 am to 10 pm.
Market Street offers just about anything, but specifically they have an endless about of different cheeses, and meats at their deli that are often of very good quality. In addition, they offer a great café/mini restaurant in their store as well, which is normally very good but sometimes a hit or miss. They offer an AMAZING atmosphere in the seating areas on specifically the second level of the store. There, you can come to study, socialize, or do any kind of work you need to do; it is both quiet and peaceful.
Market Street really focuses on their service making it one of their top priorities. But, I have experienced an incident of a deli worker yelling at a young child for something very petty, which resulted in making the child feel quite terrible and feeling wronged. Other than that note, Market Street has amazing customer service, most of their teen workers are nice, but some are iffy. I would like to specifically like to complicate their sackers. They are always very kind (only have had 2 or 3 that were quiet/shy and not talkative). They are extremely helpful and quite enjoyable teens!! Keep it up!
Summery:
Market Street overall offers somewhat high priced grocery, a pretty good deli, and an awesome small, but delightful little store to buy some awesome Christmas, or birthday gifts! I go to Market Street all the time and will certainly continue to go back, although the more expensive groceries sometimes urge me to go elsewhere a time to two. That being said, I would without a doubt recommend this place.
Although I did witness once a rude employee, I never have witnessed anymore ‘rude’ ones, I have also seen many shy/those who don’t want to be there type of employees I don’t want to discredit the store very much do to a single incident. In comparison to other Supermarkets I would give Market street a 5/5 due to their uniqueness and their excellent service that...
Read moreI have been a customer here for over 10 years, never had an issue like I experienced today. I spend over $500 a month in this store and because of the rudeness of Hannah and Michael at the Street side pickup desk I will no longer shop here. Today I picked up my order and on the way back my car starting smelling like it had rotten meat in it. Upon closer inspection at home, it turns out the steak I had purchased was spoiled, it had a stench that made me put it immediately in a ziplock bag as to prevent the rest of the house to take on the incredibly foul odor. Upon calling the store back, Hannah proceeds to explain to me, in a rude fashion, that it is the store policy to only provide a refund when I bring the product back. I explain it would be a very bad idea, for me to drive back, with the spoiled steak that smells like a rotten piece of meat, even though I have already sealed it in a ziplock bag because of the stench, hand it back to street side upon arrival (burning more of my time), and only then can they provide a refund. Not to mention any health hazards here. Hannah with no further comment puts me on hold and I get someone else on the line, who transfers me back to Streetside. Michael at this time proceeds to lecture me on how they can not simply accept a statement from a customer and continues lecturing me like a 14 year old who wants to be a teacher one day what his opinion is about the store policy.
I promised both of them I will post this incident on social media in detail, as well as write Market Street United corporate, to ensure any future shopper understands they will potentially have to deal with these two idiots. I will no longer shop at Market Street in Colleyville, you just lost...
