Been here twice, the first time, the food was good and the coffee was also good. The wait staff was good, but fairly busy. One negative is the single dining area is small, and LOUD. They really need to add some acoustic foam or something to the room. It's was almost impossible to hear someone sitting beside me, let alone people at the other side of the table. It's on the pricier side for the serving size, but not by too much.
The second time, everyone's order but mine was good. Don't get the Monte Cristo. To be fair, I got what was described, but it was not good execution. Their chef should be ashamed of this one. Their version is 2 slices of thick french brioche toast (which was okay, but slightly dry), 2 thick slices of ham, and Swiss Cheese. On the menu, it was also suppose to have blackberry sauce to give it the sweetness that a Monte Cristo needs. It does come with the "sauce" (really just jam), however it is artfully smeared on the plate. Then, you have to cut your sandwich, unless you want to pick up the entire thing, scrape the jam smear off the plate, and put it on the sandwich. Since they put swiss cheese on both sides, there's no where for the Jam to go with out making the sandwich fall apart. You end up taking a bite, putting jam on, taking a bite.... I'm already paying you to make and serve the thing, you should at least have the jam on the sandwich to start, or give actual sauce to dip in, not the tablespoon squeezed on the plate! For a breakfast/brunch menu Monte Cristo, throw an egg on it, or some sort of side, fruit, hash browns...something. The Monte Cristo is about $5 too much for what you get. I probably won't be back here again. Too many choices around with better...
Read moreAfter hearing good things about Townhouse Brunch from my family, I decided to try this place out when I came to Texas to visit from Delaware. We came last Tuesday and I ordered chocolate chip pancakes. The food took awhile to come but the service and coffee was decent so didn’t mind waiting. Our order comes out and my pancakes are chocolate Oreo pancakes which I did not order, so they remade them but by the time my order came out, everyone in the party was almost done eating, so i ate a little and the rest was to go. My mom ordered the Garden Veggie egg bowl and the hash browns inside were super salty. When the check came out, I kindly asked for a discount because of the inconvenience and the server asked her manager and a discount was applied (which was not even anything really). I paid and tipped.
We decided to come today to give it another try, and midway into eating AND FEEDING MY TWO YR OLD, my chocolate chip pancakes were uncooked and there was raw batter oozing out! RAW BATTER! I told the server and I had new ones made to go because once again everyone was done eating! I asked them to take off the pancakes as a courtesy and was told that since they remade them, she couldn’t do anything! It was undercooked! How is that my problem! HORRIBLE! We are never dining here again!! Also, there were dead crickets inside and all over the outside of...

I would say LARGE portions. 🍒 THE VIBE: cozy and basic brunch place! 🍒 PRICE: ~$35 I can’t remember 🍒 WOULD I COME BACK? Yes. •••• Overall Rating: 9/10 A solid new brunch place to add to your list! I love a good brunch and @townhousebrunch did not disappoint. I did expect the monte cristo to be smaller and with crispier bread but regardless the pairing with the sweet blackberry sauce made it very unique. My sweet combo was HUGE I didn’t even finish the French toast bc I had to help my boyfriend with his sandwich. They use the same type of thick bread. The bread is very thick but very yummy especially if you love your carbs. the apple chicken sausage was great and eggs were cooked perfectly. the server was nice. We loved this place! Would...
