Decided on Italian, was this place the right decision? Arrived on a Friday night just after the dinner rush and was seated promptly. Table was clean but chairs had some food on them. Waited and waited and waited a little more for our waiter, finally he comes by saying he’ll be back to take our drink orders. After waiting some more we ordered drinks and dinner in one shot, plenty of time to look at the menu. He brought the drinks and bread shortly after which were good, we both had something from the bar. Washing up I viewed the restroom and all was well maintained. Dinner arrived in about 20 minutes and was freshly made. The server dropped off the food and we had to remind him that we didn’t receive our salads, he made some random excuse and quickly got them. After eating the salad I noticed that my plate was missing something, no pasta on a pasta dish?? Asked the waiter and he explained something which didn’t make sense asking me what type of pasta would I like. I then asked if this would be an additional charge to which he replied he would ask his manager. Once he returned he said it was on the house, but my dinner comes with it?? Oh well, after another 10 minutes the pasta comes. At this point we could use another drink but no luck and didn’t feel like having to chase down the waiter to pay for another $8 drink. The waiter eventually comes back by and we ask for to go boxes as well as the bill. He quickly returns and boxes our leftovers for us handing me the bill in the process. One thing that felt a little awkward was while I was filling out the receipt he returned and waited at the table watching?? Overall the food was good but service was sub par especially for $70+ for 2 people. Not fine dining but definitely not a cheap place, you’ll get better service at most table service restaurants regardless of price. Not saying you shouldn’t give this place a try but there’s plenty of choices to consider before here.

I was so excited for a nice Italian meal while we were here from out of town, the calamari was the appetizer and the last decent part of the meal, I had ordered the Johnny's trio, chicken steak and mezzaluna ravioli, when it came out I had 3 pieces of chicken on one plate and a steak on the other no pasta... I asked her and she said it doesn't come with the meal anymore the menu just isn't updated, I said no, this isn't what I ordered and got a menu to show her and she said I don't know what to tell you the menu is different just not updated.. steam ready to roll out my ears, she says we can add it for extra charge... I said no it comes with my meal I expect it to come out.. now my husband ordered the ribeye with two sides and a salad she claimed the salad no longer came with the meal it would be extra, the menu was just wrong.. he said well id like a salad, his potatos were so garlic salted he could not eat them and his fettuccine had no sauce just bare noodles, and lastly our daughter ordered chicken strips and broccoli, well she just brought her chicken strips and we had to ask for her broccoli, when it comes out it tasted like it had been cleaned in bleach water and we didn't let her even eat it.. then comes out our bill.. we were expecting about 90 it's 135... so I look the server had charged my meal alacart a chicken trio, a steak and pasta as well as charged is extra for our daughter's broccoli that came with her meal, we finally got the manager and she was the only reason I would give this location more than a star, she listened and was appalled by the situation and comped 100 off the bill because we did not receive what we ordered even though we did offer to pay the price for what we ordered.. but still disappointed in the training of the server and the food quality. Hopefully this was a one off night and not a normal situation.

This place used to have very good food and service… but it’s been a couple years since I had been there. Unfortunately, it’s changed for the negative. I will start off by saying the manager did remove my meal from my purchase. The reason it was removed was because I requested my lamb t-bones to be cooked rare and they were very close to well done. I took 2 bites and just couldn’t eat it at all. It was tough, dry and had no flavor. The spinach and fettuccine alfredo were just alright.. not a lot of flavor with them either. The bread was fine, but that’s about it. Apparently the server has to put in a request from a tablet to get a refill on drinks now. That’s fine if it’s done in a timely manner. The table across from us received refills before even receiving their food, but I had my food for about 10 minutes (and my glass had been empty since before I received my food) before I finally received a refill. When a glass is totally full of ice and only had 3-4 drinks of drink in it, obviously refills are going to be needed quickly. They have a special right now to get an additional entree for 10 dollars which I ordered lobster ravioli with that. This used to be what I ordered all the time and it didn’t even taste the same when I had it later that evening. That was really disappointing because it’s not even good anymore. I will say my mom seemed to enjoy her eggplant parmesan and mashed potatoes… and since her tea was hot, the ice melted it quickly and she had plenty drink, which was good since I ended up drinking it while waiting for a refill. I doubt I will be back here anymore.

Came in with my family and have been planning a dinner out with all of us together. We are big fans of Carrabbas. Especially when it comes to their signature bread and herbs they provide. We get seated and they provide a very unique highchair that is built for baby car seats. So everything so far was charming and organized. Our table happened to be the only table without olive oil which was weird because we did have to wait for our table to be “set up”. I just grabbed one from a table behind us. Service was quick but forgetful and random. Asked for more herbs as well as the bread once we put in all of our orders. It was 3 adults and a child who all love this complementary appetizer. We quickly ran out before putting our order in. Bread never came neither did the herbs. As we got our entrees was the only time our waitress asked if we needed more bread. I responded yes even though I had already asked before but didn’t want to make a big deal. I let that one go because as stated it is complimentary. When the 2 of us ordered the soup and the other adult, a salad, we were somewhat confused. As another waitress was letting us know they were both chicken soups, one was drastically different from the other. One had more noodles, chicken, and veggies and the other seemed to look like it was chicken broth with some noodles, chicken and veggies. I didn’t mind a brothy soup with less substance and the other didn’t mind more noodles and the works. We just found it odd that they didn’t find it weird either. Soups that obviously look very different from each other but were the same and still sent out to serve. Again nothing to really complain about and worked out in the end. I always felt this restaurant was very well put together and might’ve just been falling off their high expectations. I overheard our table to the right of us ask for more sauce for their entrees which I found to be weird at first and they were probably just being problematic. Upon receiving our entrees they lacked sauce and presentation was lacking. Lobster ravioli / sauce was on the button, ravioli dumped on the plate, and tomatoes were on the side. Side Alfredo / lacked sauce tremendously, tried stirring from the bottom to top but did it no justice, and couldn’t be any dryer than old...

It used to be a great restaurant, but every time I come here the service gets just a little worse, and the food a little lower quality. They seem perpetually understaffed in literally every regard, from kitchen staff, to whoever should be cleaning bathrooms, the serving staff etc; to the point that all of their staff comes off as uncaring and short-tempered, leaving dirty plates and containers on your tables indefinitely and rarely offering a refill.

Food for the entire table was served cold, or room temperature at best today, after a very, very long lunchtime wait. Among the two of us who ordered ribeyes, one cut of meat was inedibly gristly and fatty, nigh impossible to cut, and the other -- while ordered medium rare -- was literally cold and purple in the middle. Another one of us ordered the salmon, and it was cooked to the point of having zero color left, yet still somehow managed to be served room temperature. The zucchini fritte appetizer was also a soggy, grease-laden mess — as if slowly soaked in oil that wasnt hot enough, instead of actually being fried.

The ambiance was regular corporate italian. Pleasant enough lighting and such, but for some reason they had the temperature so low today, you could've hung freshly butchered meat from the decorative trellis and expected it to keep like it were in an icebox.

Additionally, while I almost never drink while eating out, it should be noted that Carabbas charges you a full extra tax on all alcoholic beverages, that is normally paid by the restaurant, that other restaurants do not charge you, on top of the already hugely inflated price. Expect to pay $30 - $40 if you want like two glasses of cheap wine. It’s an outrage even for people accustomed to restaurant drinking prices, and I’ve overheard other patrons raging about it.

For what you pay to eat here, id recommend quite literally anywhere else in Collierville, if you don't want to leave feeling like you paid over $100 for a really poor experience and unappetizing food. The entire table agreed we probably wont be back after today, and we at one point were extremely regular customers,...

A great restaurant to eat out at. We were served as soon as we came in and did not have to wait at all. They gave us our beverages, (Diet Coke, Lemon Water, and a Strawberry Lemonade) in a short amount of time. Then, we were served two loaves of bread with two servings of herb seasoning dips, along with two sides of Caesar salads, and a plate of 4 soft, warm, sauteed mushrooms stuffed with Italian sausage and topped with Parmesan, Ricotta and Mozzarella cheese. The loaves were fresh, warm, and soft. The herbs were also fresh and full of flavor. Our entrees, (A Mid-Well 10 oz Tuscan Grilled Sirloin with Sauteed Broccoli and Sauteed Spinach, and the second entree being a Fettuccine Weesie.) The steak was fresh, and cooked just right. It was soft, tender, and very flavorful. The broccoli and spinach were fresh, warm, and had a good amount of seasoning to them. The fettuccine weesie had shrimp, pasta, mushrooms, cream sauce, and of course, fettuccine. The pasta had a good amount of seasoning and the shrimp was very good. When we were leaving, we asked for another loaf of bread and another cup of herb dip. They surprisingly gave us two loaves of bread, and two cups of herb dip with no extra charge. Everything about this restaurant is great. The service was quick and nice, the restaurant was sanitary and very organized. The tables come with sea salt, pepper, and olive oil, along with well cleaned utensils and napkins. And again, the servers were very nice and gave us another refill of diet Coke without us even asking. The whole experience at this restaurant was very pleasant, from the servers, the restaurant's many items such as televisions, seasonings, and utensils. The servers make sure you are enjoying your experience and food, and make sure everything is just right for you. The restaurant has a very wide selection of food, drinks, and dessert on their menu to pick from. My experience there was excellent, and I recommend you go there to see...
