Panda Express — Restaurant in Collierville

Drive thru order taken by Andrew S. Either he was preoccupied or just didn't care. Told him what I wanted, one item I needed to wait five minutes for which was no problem. He repeated order back but when I pulled around and looked at my receipt, he left off my drink and put wrong side. I went inside to correct my order, I didn't worry about the drink (too expensive anyway) and proceeded to wait for my order. He insisted that they would bring it to my car. I wished I had just asked for a refund and gone to another one. When I opened it, my food was not hot, the chow main was dry and under cooked, my beef and broccoli was more broccoli than beef and beef pieces tasted like they had been sitting awhile, and string bean chicken had red peppers in it, sauce tasted different and chicken looked and tasted like it had not been cooked with the dish but added from another dish. Chicken was not completely covered in sauce but was dry in spots and looked like it was either old or had been fried. I was sooo hungry and disappointed in what I got. I was too far from the location to drive back but I will never patronize this location. This location needs new employees that how to cook and can take...

A Bad Good story... A resolution was quicker than expected, and though initially disappointed, feel it was best for all and glad that I can feel comfortable to continue eating at PandaExpress Collierville. We had some close family friends go there Sunday. Unfortunately, their heritage was an issue for two employees who refused to serve them and revealed themselves verbally. Monday, my wife went to confront the management at the store. It was learned upon her visit that those individuals are now former employees. Action taken quickly. While the initial incident was painful and disappointing that such prejudice would exist openly, I am very happy that, by whatever path, the location was able to remove such people. Those employees that remain, and may have directly reported this failing, should be encouraged as well as the General Manager for upholding American values of respect and fairness.

I eat here fairly often and have seen the best and the worst. It is never worse than 3 stars, or good average, and at meal time the food is excellent but obviously the service drops some due to being busy... If you go between meal times, the food may be a bit old and dry, but the service is fantastic. If you go at meal time the food is very fresh and moist but it may take a few minutes to get your food. I would say that as a fast food place, it is much better than average in food quality and service. Everyone likes the orange chicken, pepper chicken, and the two beef choices. I started out getting the fried rice, but now I get 1/2 steamed veggies, and 1/2 brown rice to make it a bit healthier for an old man. My 5 star rating is for eating at 1 PM and at 5 PM, after that the food tends to dry up some.
