So I ask for a large turkey bacon ranch with chicken instead add extra chicken. Guy says "that's gonna be pricey" I said it's fine. So that sandwich, a small teriyaki sandwich, large fry, large lemonade and 2 cookies. $38 or so. So after waiting about 20 minutes or so for him to make 2 call in orders who weren't being worked on til after I ordered but the worst part is I didn't wait 20 minutes for the sandwiches. They were done and sitting on the counter waiting for the fries noone dropped until my sandwiches had been bagged for 15 minutes. Then I get home to finally enjoy my ice cold meal. There is maybe enough chicken on the large sandwich with extra very"pricey" chicken, for a quarter of a chicken breast no onions that I ordered no ranch on a sandwich with ranch in the name. Lettuce that I didn't ask for. And maybe 1.75 strips of bacon. So tell me why he bothered saying it would be pricey instead of I'm not gonna make your sandwich correctly no matter what ridiculous payment I take. Dude was on the phone cracking jokes on his airpods the entire time I was ordering and until after I left. If you can't get good help that doesn't cost you extra money it makes sense to get rid of the worthless help and pay the extra money to someone who will actually do what you pay them for instead of ruining a perfectly good meal and costing you money on refunds returns food waste etc. Seriously it isn't that hard. Not dining at this location ever again. Gone so far downhill after losing the previous store operator. Miss him....
Read moreI previously had an awful experience with this restaurant due to a bad employee that was working here at the time. I said I would never come back as long as he was here, well I'm back now!
I visited Monday the 23rd, at night, and it was an extremely pleasant experience. The restaurant was very clean, and I absolutely loved the fall decorations(I can't wait to see the decorations for the rest of the year 😉).
I asked if there was a manager on duty that I could speak with after I ordered, and the young lady told me the General Manager was still here. She went to get him and he came up and introduced himself at Trenton, a plump fellow who was very welcoming. I told Trenton about my previous experience, he was incredibly sorry for the experience and let me know that the employee who ruined my experience last time had been let go already, fired by him personally. He offered me a cookie and even covered my food!
I'm so happy that this store is in a good spot again, I love Penn Station and this location is going to become a personal favorite, I just know it! Please, if you haven't been in awhile, stop by again! The new manager has really gone to great lengths to fix the store. It's not perfect, but I can tell he's not done making this a...
Read moreMore Like, Hormel Station!!! Cheap-ass meats. I want my money back!!!! I spent 8 dollars on Hormel trash-food. I got an 8 inch Italian sub and there was barley any meat on it. A tiny piece of bread that made to LOOK overfilled, which it was not. And HOT MAYO??? on an Italian sub? Come on guys, that is just gross. I DO NOT recommend ANYONE to even try this outrageously overpriced garbage (in my opinion). Not much to choose from in sauces. And they make the advertisement pictures look so big, which they are not; such false advertising. A dollar an ounce for meat? That's 16$ a pound for HORMEL meats!!!!!! LMAO!!! I hope this place is a ghost town soon. I just cant see how anyone would look at Penn Station and say, "Oh yah, I want one of these." Seriously, i want my money back, and that had to be THE WORSE way to spend 8 dollars. I might as well have burned it. Did I mention the horrible aftertaste that would not go away EVEN AFTER brushing my teeth and rinsing with peroxide?...
