2 star food, 5 star service. The restaurant was beautiful. Our waitress was incredible; although wish i could say the same about the meal. I have never cared for Ravanellis, this yet-again solidified my reasons. The chicken was horrible/blah; the worst no-flavor breading that added no flavor to the semi-dark meat flavorless chicken under it. They gave me 3 pieces, i willingly could only eat one. The mashed potatoes and gravy were satisfactory. They served us with a generous portion of bread with garlic butter, and all the Dr Pepper we could ingest šŸ˜…. My wife was eyeballing this gorgeous chocolate cake in the desert glass; we got 1 slice and to our dismay....it also had no flavor or was so blah. "Basic" is probably the word I would use to describe this place. If you like a basic Italian-style restaurant and can't afford Olive Garden....i would still recommend a nice Michelina frozen entree Not a place i would recommend; Everyone still walks away unhappy in the end šŸ™

We had Ravanelli's cater a retirement party. [ I can only speak of the catering and not of dining at the restaurant] The menu included "famous" mixed chicken, Italian beef in aujus, glazed carrots, cavitation Alfredo, mashed potatoes and gravy, salad, and bread. Dessert not included. The cost was $20 a person & they required atleast 50 people. My opinion is that the cost was a bit high for the quality of the meal, I'm not saying it was bad, just average. We ran out of bread and cutlery, but there was plenty of food. After making sure they knew the time & date they were still late( not because to the delivery person but because had written the wrong time). Now the question is "would I have them cater again?" Probably not due to the cost, and the meal was average. If I would ever be in the area I might dine at the restaurant.

We started with the zucchini parmesan and the fried mushrooms. Both appetizers were good, and my wife loved the house garlic ranch dressing. Then we tried the Sicilian style pizza. It was served with soup, salad, and fresh bread. The clam chowder hit the spot on this chilly, rainy evening. We got the pepperoni & mushroom. Not a really big pizza, but it was pretty tasty. The crust is an Italian bread dough, with a good chew and flavor. Plenty of cheese, and the toppings were all good. (Actually, this was the first time I've had the pizza here.) Picked up a piece of the bread-pudding to go; it's my brother Ted's favorite.

My first words to my family after getting our carryout food and leaving was "remind me never to go there again." When I called in the order I was told 45 minutes on to go orders which was fine with me. I showed up 40 minutes later, paid and was told it's not ready yet it hasn't been 45 minutes......ok so I'll sit down and wait.... 20 minutes later someone brings my food out. I always check to make sure I have everything and let me tell you, someone should take the time to train the carryout people how to bag food. I ordered a 16 piece chicken meal and somehow they fit every single container into one bag. When she handed it to me the bag was stretched out and basically ripping and half of my containers were sideways to where the lids were literally falling off. I took the food to my car to check everything where I noticed I only had two small containers of salad dressing for six people. I went back inside and stood at the counter to ask for more. I stood there a solid 4-5 minutes and had four of the carryout people look at me and kept doing what they were doing. I was also not the only person in line. I could not believe every single person behind that counter looked at me and did not say one word to me. A simple we will be right with you would have been fine. Finally someone acknowledged me after I asked the host if she could get my dressing. I told them I had asked on the phone about salad dressing for six people and I only ended up with a couple of cups and I was told they only give 1 oz per customer. That is fine but I was not even given that much so I was told I needed to pay for more. Coming from someone in the restaurant business the easiest way to lose a customer is to ignore them. The staff here tonight went above and beyond that. As far as the food goes the chicken is small and the corn is flavorless. Disappointed I wasted $60 on my family's Christmas meal and had to endure...

We decided to give this restaurant a shot for our anniversary. Unfortunately our experience was pretty horrible to start off with we was sat at a dirty table, I tracked down the hostess and showed her the debris and food drippings all over the table from the prior guest then was seated at a new table where we waited over 10 minutes to have a server greet us. Finally we proceeded to order an appetizer and dinner with high hopes the appetizer would come out first for us to enjoy, unfortunately that didn’t happen we received our soup and salad and both our soups was cold tomato basil and clam chowder at this point we was rather disappointed but instead of ruining our evening we pushed on hoping the best for our entree’s. The server shows up with one entree and the appetizer and tells us the other will be out shortly. My spouse does not eat green peppers nor would we have thought the meatballs would taste like stuffed bell peepers. We both ordered parmesan chicken, it was a huge helping of noodles with maybe a 5oz piece of chicken there was no offering of fresh parmesan cheese. My spouse spoke the the serve about the bread pudding and was looking forward to getting a piece to take home, when the server did come back to the table and I asked for a to go box he took off before we could ask for the dessert and came back with the check and the box. As we finished each plate we would slide them to the end of the table with hopes he would take them away giving us room to be comfortable and not eat with dirty plates and glasses setting all around us. It’s unfortunate for a small town like Collinsville that has limited places to eat aren’t taken more pride in food quality and...

First and most important I LOVE Ravanelli’s food! We order almost EVERY Christmas Eve for my family! Unfortunately, Thursday, Feb 23, my daughter and I ran into a situation. We came in to celebrate some great health results I received. We told your awesome, polite hostess we wanted to have some cocktails and order carryout at the bar. No problem she said so we proceeded to the bar. It was 3:30 and at first we were told the bat was closed while reading a sign cocktails served from 3:00 to closing. THEN a waitress came with menus, silverware rolled in napkins. We told her what we were doing. Sarcastically she said who told you that? We don’t do that. You have to order at the carry out window! SO my daughter said you are ruining our vibe but OK! We got up and went to the window. The hostess said treat them good to the awesome person taking our order. The floor manager was FANTASTIC! He catered to us the entire time! After ordering 90+ $’s worth of food, we went back to the bar where a VERY friendly kind bartender took such great care of us! The floor manager…I can’t remember his name but it started with an M came back to talk to us. It ended up being a very pleasant experience after the situation. The bartender bought us one drink and the manager bought us another. I do have a suggestion…on the sign above the window that says ā€œCarry Outsā€ should maybe be changed toā€¦ā€Order/Pickup Carryouts here! AGAIN KUDOS to: HOSTESS, BARTENDER, and especially MANAGER and COOK! Once again...
