I ordered from The Meltdown through GrubHub after seeing them listed on the app. The options seemed limited, though it seemed more like a quality vs. quantity menu. I ordered the Feeling Groovy melt and the Hot Mess melt, and one order of fries. While the options sound great, they're just alright based upon our selection tonight. The fries looked seasoned in the photos, but had no seasoning when delivered, and tasted bland. I put my own seasoning on to try and add more flavor. The concerning part was after recieving our food from delivery, I immediately found there was a DayMark/DayDot food lable for sliced ham, baked into the sandwich. I've worked food industry for years, even earing a ServSafe management certificate, and I'm not sure how this was missed. I've included a photo for reference, to show you what I immediately saw when I picked up my first half of the sandwich. The lable was staring right at me, and managed to avoid being sliced in half with the food. I understand you can't catch all mistakes, and mistakes are inevitable, but this seems like a large thing to miss. I had to pull it off the melted cheese. I would recommend to the cooks that whole speed is important, accuracy and food safety is of higher importance. This was disappointing as a first time customer. I would have called to leave feedback, but there is no number listed on Google or their website, so here we are instead. I already contacted GrubHub and recieved reimbursement for the sandwich as they handled the payment in this case, and are significantly easier to contact than the business themselves. I would like to recommend, but seeing no other reviews, and running into this issue on my first order, I'm not sure I'd recommend ordering from this business, but hopefully standards will increase, and my review will become irrelevant, for the business's sake.

I had never ordered here before, and do not intend to ever do so again.. I ordered through DoorDash The giddyup melt combo was very, very expensive for what I got, and nothing at all like the picture. I got approximately four small small pieces of burnt ends, which were very burnt -- similar to charcoal-- and nearly inedible. Even my bread had a hole in it .. like a big air bubble. So there was absolutely no cheese or meat on that 1/4 off the sandwich--- It was horrible and if I was the owner, I would be embarrassed. This was the biggest disappointment since for a 17 or $18 combo... you'd be far better off at sonic who actually gives you a nice steak Melty sandwich for about six dollars... at least you can eat that! And don’t worry, I didn’t get a boatload of fries either. There’s barely a handful… of bland and cold fries— see pics I agree with other reviewers on door dash that the cheese was square cut and not melted at the edges I did take pictures and I intend to post with this so you can see the horrid shape of the sandwich. On an upside, the hitting snooze breakfast sandwich was a far better value, although still greasy. I'm not sure what they baste the bread in prior to grilling, but it is an oily mess, perhaps they hitting snooze bread just absorbed it better? That sandwich was as expected, except for the cheese . And on a final note, it seems really shady that this is apparently a Denny’s offering… Yet on DoorDash it seems like it’s a standalone restaurant called the meltdown… either way I would say buyer beware

The Meltdown is Denny's takeout. I mistakenly thought this was a separate restaurant. I would have never ordered from the meltdown if I would have known. The food was what you'd imagine takeout from Denny's tastes like if you didn't eat it there, but chose to drive it home instead. Once I realized it was just Denny's my expectations were lowered. Unfortunately, I was still disappointed. My melt that I requested without onions had chopped onions on it. My order was missing all of our fries and onion rings. Even the desert...
