I have to admit I have not had burger King for quite some time. I would like to think about 6 years or so. I truly missed their whopper and some other items from the menu. However. I was met with a screen that had no menu upon entry. The wonderful employee Donte informed me their screens were down politely. I nodded and told him, I would look the menu up on my phone. In these types of situations, I would suggest having a paper menu available for those types of issues. I only recommend because I used to work in the food industry and it's normal to have those types of outages. Having a back up plan in place would help you're not so regular customers or those who aren't able to use the app.
The place was neat, clean and tidy, except for the drink machine that only needed a wipe down from multiple soda coated hands and fingerprints on the touch screen.
Now, to the food. Once I looked at a menu from my phone. I knew I wanted a whopper of some sort.
Double whopper w/ bacon and cheese - 10/10 (you can't mess this up)
Fries - 8.5/10 because they were SUPER HOT but super salty.
Soda - Coke Zero w/ cherry flavoring - 6/10
Customer Service - 8.5/10 Donte stood out as a good example of working under pressure. I appreciate how kind he was and still kept a smile on his face while it got busy. ☺️ It's so rare to see. Also, shout out to the team, I know you guys were flustered amongst the frustration that your customers couldn't read the board or bring you guys drama over it while you're simply just trying to work. What happened at this location was the cause and effect of a corporation or franchise owners not giving their employees the tools they need to succeed. I was like great it really must be my birthday. Unfortunately after trying to use the coupon through the drive thru several times and using my Samsung pay I decided to go into the restaurant to get it rectified. however when I went in there the person who seemed to be the manager or assistant manager was like I see it's having a problem I can help you and I can't give you the offer. She then mentioned there was a man who was outside who would be able to honor the offer but she was unwilling to call him or have him contacted. so there I was smelling whoppers with no whopper in hand.
