McDonald's — Restaurant in Colonial Heights

From the beginning the were being extremely rude the lady that took my order was huffing on the intercom. I get to the window I polietly ask the guy if I could make sure the order was right before I paid twice & he refused, I paid with a 50. The wrong order was 17.28 he gave me 30 dollars excatly back, instead of 32.72. I tried to repeat the order to him as he took my money he was rude rolled his eyes & interrupted me saying "we know" even though I knew it was incorrect from the screen at the drive through window so I waited for the receipt once I got it I look over it & see it's wrong I get the managers attention & explain what's wrong & say I will pay the difference for what was missing. She is friendly the one time I speak with her. The 4 rude employees are gathered at the window hand me the 3 drinks and then a bag with two hash browns. I order 3 mcmuffin sandwich combos & 3 additional hashbrowns so I wait for the rest. They proceed to stare at me for 5 minutes & finally they open the window ask what I was doing still waiting there I explained i still was missing 4 hashbrown & 3 mcmuffins , they slam the window. They then give me another bag with the hashbrowns & 2 mcmuffins. I tell them I'm still missing one then they start arguing I only ordered two which I said no Ma'am & I already discussed this with the manager. They tell me we're out of sausage & bacon all of a sudden & slam the window again. I was treated extremly rude from the beginning when I was nothing but nice to them. I didn't want anything free I just wanted the food to be correct. I left without my third sandwich & in tears from the unprofessional & unnecessary treatment I received bc I assumed all 4 of them don't like their job or are having a bad day & taking it out on the customers. If I could give negative stars I would. I will never return to...

OK, I have been here several times in the past 2 months....so I can give an overall experience from coming here recently. So here goes. Fries are usually pretty good here and they do fill them up. 1 out of 5 times my fries were old. I always order on the app and get take out from inside and service is always fast. Kudos. Sandwiches are pretty good, except from my last experience. Ice cream and sundaes are good but they only fill the cup 1/2 to 3/4 filled, needs work. Good parking, can't comment on the drive thru, since I never use it. This McDonald's drive thru is usually pretty packed constantly. I would have given this place 4 stars until my last visit. I ordered a chicken sandwich. Went inside. The whole facility was just mopped with dirty water and smelt very bad. There was plenty of people working that could have corrected this issue. I worked at many facilities and mopped many many floors. Either the water did not have cleaner, the water was old, the mopped wasn't rinsed out properly from last use, or a combination of all. I was standing at the counter and the person was talking to 2 people beside them. I am literally 10 feet and can see everything going on. The person has several napkins in their hand, uses them to wipe off the area in front of them and then puts them in the bag with my sandwich and gives it to me. I was shocked. I took the napkins out of the bag and threw them away...my instinct was to throw everything away but I was hungry. I ate the sandwich in my car. 15 minutes later my stomach hurt and I was popping digestive medication the rest of the day. Today, I am fine but there was something definitely wrong with that sandwich. The food is decent here but after my last order, I am reconsidering utilizing this facility again. I guess all I can say is eat at...

The young gentleman that works in the morning at the front register is the absolute best! He always greets you with a smile, very polite, and he always makes my day! The ladies cooking and serving the food are really kind and quick in the mornings. Honestly, my food was ready before I was done paying for it! 👏👏👏 Love starting my day off with these amazing people... it really sets the mood for your whole day and ba da da da daaaa Im lovin it! Im so happy this location finally found some GREAT workers with a positive attitude that actually want to work and keep this location clean, running smoothly, quick service, and they have respect for the customers. What more could you ask for?!? So i just want to say THANKYOU FOR THE POSITIVE VIBES THIS MORNING, THE YUMMY HOT FOOD, AND THANKYOU FOR MAKING ME SMILE! 🫶

Update: Still lovin it!!! The new sweet older lady that works the cash register in the mornings deserves a raise because she is always busy helping customers or cleaning, keeping this McDonald's running smoothly and its actually clean! The floors are always mopped, all the tables were wiped off, and they got the parking lot looking good too. This is honestly the only McDonald's I enjoy coming to, the only downfall is the fact that there is no play area at this location but these outgoing hard workers make up...
