I don't understand what all the hype is, or the 4.5 star rating this place has. Very poor service. We sat for over 15 before we were even noted of being in their restaurant. We were given no silverware and only water with chips and salsa, after almost 10+ minutes of sitting down. First, we seated ourselves and I asked if I should grab menus. His reply was, if you want. No drink order... another 20 minutes, or more went by and our waiter took our orders but waited another 5 minutes to bring our drinks. Unreal. The salsa was so hot we were dying to have a drink. Still no napkins or silverware.. We ordered the cheese enchiladas with rice and beans and I ordered a combo of one taco, enchilada and a tamale. They served our plates with still, no silverware...I had to ask for it and that was 3 minutes after the plates touched the table he brought it. The food is very bland! No spices no seasoning, no flavor whatsoever, except of course, of what you're actually eating. The rice was undercooked and no flavor. The beans tasted straight out of a can. My tamale was solid dough, seriously. I have a picture to prove it. The flavor of that was nil. My enchilada was cheese flavor and that's it. The only thing that had a taste was my shredded beef taco and the beef was so dry I got cotton mouth from eating it. Taco Star and other little hole in the wall joints outperform and out flavor this place by a landslide. Do not waste your time or money at this place. It is No Bueno! TRUST

Good food but shortage in staff and popular items made this a rather disappointing meal. This is in what looks like an old Pizza Hut or something - so it is rather cozy. They were incredibly busy which is probably a good problem to have but left this customer wanting in many regards. It took 15 minutes to get acknowledged and have drink orders taken but the drinks arrived relatively fast and the server frantically dashed away as fast as he came - before we had the chance to ask any questions. Two out of four of our orders arrived incredibly incorrect but we felt it was futile to try to get any service to address it so we picked at the meal and made the best of it. Annoyingly, they were out of queso as both an appetizer and sauce topping. The salsa offerings were not like any other I've had in my home state of Oklahoma either - and i still can't decide whether they were enjoyable or not or just different. The pozole (red) was on point and really hit the spot. The toppings were fresh and came in a dish on the side - no cilantro though. I recommend you pay with cash or watch your card carefully though. We paid with cash and the server brought us back someone else's credit card and slip to sign instead of change. I'm glad to see a local business thrive but if this restaurant would grow the service with the demand then this place would really shine.

This restaurant is overrated, went for nachos, and a burrito to split with my girlfriend. She tried a margarita, I ordered a michelada, both drinks were fairly priced, and tasted fine, nothing great as I have had micheladas from California when I lived out there. For the food, it was pretty good , the burrito and guac were good, the nachos were decent but lacked meat, and the other condiments and extras. Very little meat and very little beans and guacamole. Service was below average. Our server didn't even know if they had carne asada or if the guacamole was made with onions inside it, and she didn't even think or care to go ask the kitchen about the guacamole. 45 dollars for 3 drinks and 2 plates is a great value, so props for that, but service has to be there at a restaurant as well. Btw their water tastes horrible heads up lol

We’ve been going to this restaurant for about nine years now, so today we were very taken aback by the horrible service. It took us over ten minutes to get our chips, about another ten to fifteen minutes to even get salsa for the chips and they still hadn’t asked us what we wanted to drink or given us any water for the meantime. I’m not familiar with names, but the older lady that wears the red polo shirt was the one tending to us, if you can even call it that. She ignored us and seemed like she did not want to tend to us at all.

When she finally came to our table to give us the salsa, my step dad told her, “We’re ready to order when you have a chance.”

She then responded with, “You’re going to have to wait.” Then she left with an attitude and told one of the other waitresses to tend to us.

We’re paying customers. You should not talk to customers that way. She could have said, “Just give me one moment and I’ll be back to take your order.” We were so uncomfortable and hurt by this service; hurt because as stated before, we’ve been going here for almost nine years now and never expected to be treated this way. We hold this restaurant at very high standards, and were very disappointed today.

The food is delicious and there is one waiter there who wears a yellow polo shirt who has given us the best service, no matter how busy or how his day is going. However, to be spoken to this way and to wait this long to be tended to is...

Big food and cheap. No health food here. Just the type of Mexican food that Colorado gringos have come to expect. Mexicans come here to, so it must be, at least locally, authentic. Arceo's is in an old Pizza Hut building. Inside is fluorescent lighting mitigated by cheerful paper cut out style, Mexican festoons. Velvet paintings of bullfighting and fun bas relief cast resin red tile roof townscapes.

We had: Steak and enchilada plate--classic thin, well-done, but flavorful steak. Side taco with shredded beef--better than Taco Bell. Side guacamole tostada--huge. Shrimp fajitas--generous portion, sizzling and good Saucy enchiladas--tasty. Chimichanga--big. Mexican Coke--half liter! I'd never seen one so big! Every plate had beans and rice, cheese and tasty sauce. You just can't go wrong here if that's what you're looking for.

Two very nice salsas with the chips, one chunky and fresh, one more saucy. A little bit of pleasant heat in both. (They were too hot for one of our party but he's the most sensitive person to spicy heat that I've ever met. We have to go really light on the black pepper with him, so . . .) Everybody was quite full and pleased with her or his dinner. We all packed up leftovers and then ordered one portion of deep fried ice cream between four. How can you lose? The perfect amount.

Satisfying family meal at a reasonable price in...
