I worked an 11 hour shift and I just wanted a nice warm soup after work. With a quarter full restaurant I waited 5 minutes for the host. No biggie whatever. She seats me on the west side window with a menu and even showed me how to use the blinds to see the sunset. As I’m sitting alone in a bright jacket (hard to miss) in the middle of these tables of people. I watch server by server go by each making eye contact with me. After 15 minutes! I was able to find the girl who seated me to ask for my server. The server with shaved sides, braids and silver cuffs around the braids (who had walked past me more than 5 times) came to my table. “I’ve been here for a little while” “what do you want to drink” “I’m actually ready to order as I’ve been sitting for 15 minutes” I order and he proceeded to come back with my water and said “I love that you took the initiative to seat yourself. That’s awesome.” Excuse me?? First thing out my mouth was “I’m a server too and have never done that in my life!” Explained my interaction with the hostess and still no apology. Never in my life would I accuse a customer of seating themselves. Ask? Sure. Accuse? No!! Apparently the girl told him she didn’t remember seating me. This is the first time in my life I left no tip. It pained me to not tip as I always advocate for severs. My soup was hot. The heater for the chips is continually broken. I frequent chilis because of the service I usually get. Tonight I will go to bed frustrated that my meal was ruined not because of the food but because of the treatment I’ve received. Sad part is he could’ve turned it all around with a simple “my...
Read moreIf you've ate at one Chili's Grill & Bar...you've ate at them all...Or So I thought. So this adventure came by way of me attending a picnic where the guy on the grill decided to give his dog a belly rub and proceed to throw on burgers and hot dogs without washing his hands (I'll pass). I was strolling down Interquest Parkway and something said go to Chili's. I ordered the Triple threat (I know that's not what it's called) with the tenders, southwest egg rolls, big mouth bites, and an extra order of big mouth bites (I was starving). The food was delicious, I mean like unexpectedly delicious and seasoned well for a chain restaurant. I thought it was a fluke. So, to prove my theory of Chili's not having consistency, I suggested during date night later that evening me and the Mrs. go to Chili's. Her immediate reaction was of all the places in this city you're taking me to Chili's, boy we been married too long, you don't even put any thought into dates anymore (LOL) So, we go to Chili's I order the exact same thing I had for lunch and the Mrs. orders the fajitas. BAM!!!! they did it again, listen people, this is not a game!!! Chili's Grill & Bar is definitely back and ready to provide you tasteful food and quality service. I wish I would have taken some pics but don't just sit there and read this, go to Chili's Grill & Bar on...
Read moreMy family really enjoys going to Chili's and tonight was the worst experience we have ever had there. We got our drinks and chips and salsa (thankfully) then our appetizer came out (triple dipper) and the Buffalo wings were cold, I blew it off because the rest of the appetizer was good and my son ate the wings no problem. We then sat for 1 1/2 hours waiting for our food, the waitress came out and said there was a problem with the screens in the kitchen and they were working on getting our food and the manager was going to give us a feee desert. Mind you other customers who came in after us were ordering and getting their food in a timely manner. We sat and waited longer and finally our food came out and it was ALL COLD. I then asked for the manager and expressed my concern over the whole experience and told him I did not want to even eat any more and he expressed his concern and apologized and said the meal was on him (like I was going to pay for cold food) I did say I would pay for our drinks and appetizer (which I should not have done but the food and drinks were delivered). I did not end up paying for everything and left to take my kids to get something to eat (Firehouse subs). This is not going to stop me from going to Chili's but I will never go to the one on Interquest...
