Dickey's Barbecue Pit — Restaurant in Colorado Springs

Ordered through Doordash. Took my bag off the step. It was ripped down the back entirely. Opened the food boxes and either the driver ate our food or Dickies gave the smallest portions ever. The fries came in a Popeyes sandwich bag, odd, they were very soggy, under cooked, and a very small portion. Especially for being in a good-sized Popeyes sandwich bag. My husband and I were craving BBQ and decided on Dickies. He had went to a company get-together for a co workers birthday that was catered by Dickies. He brought some home and we both agreed it was really good so Dickies it is! Even if the driver had eaten out of our containers, the food itself was nothing like the catered BBQ. Had to be from a different location. Both had the 3 meat plate. I got sliced Brisket, chopped Brisket and pulled pork. There was 1 1/2 slices of sliced Brisket, about 2 tablespoons worth of pulled pork that was dry and had a bad flavor. The chopped brisket was also about 2 tablespoons worth, and it was fatty. The 1 1/2 slices of Brisket was sooo dry! We were not pleased with the size of the 2 sides you get. Very small . My husband's 3 meat plate was just like mine. Except he had ribs instead, which turned out to be 1 rib piece that was obviously from an end . Tender, but really? 1 tiny rib. The bone was about the size of a pinky finger. We also ordered extra Texas toast but just got 1 each, and they looked squished. Oh, we ordered BBQ sauce, and we did not get any at all. So basically, this meal turned out to be a disaster. It was like leftovers from a week ago. Too bad cause the food was great from the party. Was really looking forward to it. My husband called Dickies and got a generic voice-mail. One that you get when you leave a vm on a personal cell phone. The greeting is far from professional as well. Such a waste of...

Ate here for the first time last night. Placed an order online for two 2-meat plates. Here's what I ordered: Plate #1: Two-meat plate, sliced brisket, polska kilbasa, green beans, salad (comes with 'texas toast'). What I got - chopped brisket, jalapeno cheddar sausage, green beans, salad, sauce on the side (didn't ask for sauce on the side), cold, tasteless potato-type roll. Plate #2: Two-meat plate, sliced brisket, jalapeno cheddar sausage, green beans, mac n cheese, sauce on the side, side of cheddar cheese. I got all of that except the brisket again seems chopped not sliced, but whatever. And again no texas toast; a cold, tasteless potato-type roll instead. The "cheddar cheese" slice was a kraft single in a container half melted and inedible. I threw it away. The sauce on the side was one tiny container that didn't even cover the meat. The mac n cheese has absolutely no seasoning on it whatsoever. Bland as can be. My other complaint is that they have all these great coupons in the mailer and nowhere to put the coupon on the website when you order (there's a code area but no code on the paper coupon). Also, no way to pay at the store when doing an online order to present said coupon, so the only way to use it is to go in, order in person, wait. No thanks. I really hate leaving reviews like this but I don't understand how it's so hard to follow basic instructions. I will not be eating here again or at any other of their chains. Beware of Dickie's COMPLETE FIASCO!!! The food was terrible, my husband threw it all up, he got food poisoning out of it, it tasted bad, the presentation was bad, the portions were really small, they didn't even sent the barbecue sauce that was included with my food selection, I had asked for a Sprite NO ICE , I actually specified NO ICE and they delivered a small cup FULL of ice with watery Sprite. Also they said that their pulled pork "looks" the same as "chopped" brisket, great joke... it was only pork because it all tasted and looked the same and equaly bad and and after reading other reviews I understood it is not the first time they scam people and dont send them the brisquet. What an foolish way to treat costumers, will never order again from this restaurant and when we called to complain the manager denied everything in the beggining but then offered us some coupons that at this point we cannot accept because my husband is throwing up that food. Also they offered us to give us the barbecue sauce and refill my Sprite if we go and "pick it up" in person which makes absolutely no sense since this is a delivery order...and we paid for the delivery not to go pick up half of my order...a complete disaster...what an absolute lack of respect to the client, you are compromising pleople's health by sending food that caused food poisoning. I want a FULL refund for the miserable experience you made us go through. I will scalate if you don't give me a response. And also pick up the costumer...
