Follow me here: So for starters this place threw me for a loop. I was by it the other day, and laughed thinking we basically got another Chicago pizza across the street. I was surprised when I walked in and this place felt like it was dedicated to pizza. Counter and kitchen right in your face when you walk in. You have a mini bar with stools and like 5 tables with chairs. I was expecting something like a Chilli's of pizza, but was pleasantly surprised. Then the pricing. Look, my hungry self got the special for Saturday which was a large Stromboli for $13 (worth $21 without the deal). Then I ventured off to see what else they offered and was maybe getting one more item at this point. I ended up with their monthly special pizza for $13, and a strawberry pizza for $8. My total came out to $37 after taxes and with pickup. Let me just say every nite was thinking "Yeah, this is my new go to pizza spot". The price for all of this was amazing compared to the chain spots. Lastly the staff were awesome. I didn't expect to have the door opened for me, and have a friendly conversation while the pizza slicer and myself kept giving each other glaces with nods of approval when they were slicing all of it up. This place is the real deal.

Food: I mean, this is a tasty slice of pizza. Nice and crispy dough without being cracker like. Service: I'm pretty sure the owner is working, but they were super nice! Atmosphere: first in with their sweet TMNT poster, truly nostalgic all they need is a Tekken arcade cabinet or something... but those take up space could be used for customers.

Really good food with fun, bright atmosphere and great music. Pizza rolls were good, but elevated to great when dipped in ranch dressing. Ordered the Meateter on thick crust. Crust was nice and crunchy. Lots of toppings too. In the words of the former Governor of California, "I'll be back."

I have no clue what the food or service is like. Let me explain... I really wanted to give this place a try. Looked over the menu. Everything looks awesome. Strange they don't have a pizza style stromboli but whatever no biggie. Picked out the items I wanted to order...for pick-up. Yet I can't complete my order because they want you to create an account with a password. Even though I'm picking up my order, and don't want to be on the loyalty list and don't want emails or texts with offers...I still have to come up with a password and create an account....just to order pizza. Why do I need a password protected account just to order pizza? I hope they get a "checkout as guest" option because the food does look good and they're close to the house. Update 6/25 Still no guest...

We decided to try Double Daves for the first time. Placed an on line order for a 2 topping pizza with light sauce and extra cheese. I was greeted as I entered the store. The employee was friendly and helpful. It's a small pizzeria with minimal seating so we took the pizza home. I should've checked the box because that's when the disappointment began. The pizza I got had some sauce a few pepperoni slices, about half a piece of pepperoni per slice, and a couple olives, maybe one per slice. There was little to no cheese despite paying for extra cheese. Ihave never seen a pizza with no cheese even dominos uses more cheese. For the prices there should have been sufficient toppings. Extremely disappointing. The plus side the pepperoni rolls are...
