I'm only giving a star for the manager because he is the only one that is friendly (besides the other girl who use to work there, she appeared to be the assistant manager but I haven't seen her in the last 2 months) so technically this should be zero stars.
They are ALWAYS out of something, orange juice is still frozen (so you didn't think to take that out before the doors opened?!) OR a machine is broke/down and I only come here about twice a week so these excuses don't make any sense. How long does it take to repair something or remember to take juice out? I can understand "once in a blue moon" when a machine goes out or you ran out of something, but come on, EVERY WEEK? One time the manager gave me a free drink and that was nice of him but of course he's not going to compensate me every week. Today was my last day coming here; I have given this place a chance despite the reviews but after hearing for the about the 22nd time today "I can't make a coolata" I'm DONE. My patience was already thinning for the past 4 months but today it has ran out. There is another location close to me and when I moved a few weeks ago, I thought I wasn't going to still be able to make it here in the mornings which is the only time I go to DD. So today I gave my order that started off with one person and then the rude girl with the braids who NEVER looks happy finished it off by telling me "I can't make any coolatas" and the speaker in the drive-thru is HORRIBLE so you have to repeat your order several times, which is what I did today so she catches an attitude and yells back "pull up to the drive-thru!" Oh I'm sorry, you're yelling at me because I have to yell my order at your piece of s* menu with the jacked up speakers?! It's not my fault you can't understand! The blonde older woman took my money when I pulled up and she apologized to me. I've only been apologized to TWICE, from the manager and then today. Any of those other girls NEVER apologize when they are out of something or when the machine is down. They just say things like "nope" "can't do it" What the hell? No courtesy and you never feel welcomed when you come inside, that's why I started going through the drive-thru.
I am just too done with this location and the down right rudeness with the staff here; they look disgruntled and appear as if they are ready to walk off the job because they hate it so much. Well if that's the case, find another job and let someone else who I'm sure can do a much better job handle it. I've been in customer service for 15 years so I know how to be treated and I EXPECT nothing but the best, especially when I'm spending money so that YOU...
Read moreNo stars please. Went through the drive-thru this morning and requested a dozen bagels . "A dozen?" The puzzled voice on the speaker asked. "Yes a dozen" I repeated. (I fully expected to be told that it would be pre assorted as I have gone through this drive thru before and had been told that you cannot close your own assortment at the drive thru and I was OK with that.) Instead she says "we cannot do a dozen" I asked "how many can you do?" She says "we can do 6" and I said OK and asked "6 of what flavors do you have ?" She replied "plain only". Based on tone of voice I decided to go in and said so to her at the order box. I parked and walked in to see that although yes they were a little busy there were at least 2 dozen different flavors of bagels in the racks behind the counter. (I counted at least 8 everything flavored and 4 Sesame and amongst the 15+ others that didn't interest me as much.) So I stood in line and when it got to about 3 people in front of me a woman with the headset walked over to the cashier at the counter and asked "did you have anyone order bagels yet? Did someone come up and ask for a dozen bagels?" The cashier shook her head no. Headset lady continues "If someone comes up and orders a dozen bagels, tell them we cannot sell a dozen. This is all the bagels we have for the week." At that point I turned around and left the store. This us not how you do business. If there is a customer there willing to buy something you sell it to them. But if you are gonna hang on to your bagels or other perishable product for a week at a time I won't be back. If you think your donuts and other food from this store is fresh you are sadly mistaken. This was confirmed...
Read moreSo some good and bad. Let's get the bad over with. The paper plates look a bit silly and all the handprints and writing is the same, so you know not all the employees even participated. They could have done something better/more creative if they wanted something cute. The second bad (probably worse) thing is an employee. Funny looking redhead (I think her name is Kylee). Not only does she sexually harass and harass employees it seems, but also customers! I've witnessed and overheard these things happen. I've also heard her talk disgustingly in front of customers and their children (about her gross sexual escapades)! She talks about hooking up with people and trying to get others to do so with her, right in front of everyone! I don't think Dunkin is where this is supposed to happen, last time I checked it wasn't a brothel. Get more appropriate, professional workers please. Now for the good! Some of the employees are amazing and really try. They make the drinks really well, the donuts are creative, and they try to make the food better. They'd get more stars if they didn't have such a nasty, inappropriate, crazy employee. Probably 4 or 5! I've gone here a few times and most the time something ridiculous...
