Just had a pretty poor experience at fossil. I walked in holding a fossil branded growler that I purchased from them when they first opened to support them. I was going to refill it to give to a friend as a gift.
I’m sure they’re successful and their beer might taste great (I’ll never know). However, the bartender looked over her shoulder and, made eye contact with someone at the back of the bar (the owner?) for help. He just looked at her and smiled and shook his head, “no”.
She looked at me and said, “I guess we don’t do those”. I was pretty bummed since it was a legit Fossil product and I didn’t even get the courtesy of an explanation. I would have paid the same per ounce price as a pint if it was an option. I guess it’s a collectible item now?
All in all, poor experience and it was clear they didn’t need or want my business.
I would have appreciated being told anything honestly; “hey we’ve been selling really well and don’t have enough volume to sell Growers Right now”. Or, “hey I know we used to do that and I’m really sorry, but we aren’t doing it anymore. Sorry for your inconvenience”.
Got a weird vibe. I was disappointed. Maybe if I was a regular I would’ve gotten different service. The owner should know better than do that in front...

The owners are friendly and LOVE to acknowledge their customers. They float around to different tables to make conversation and it’s an overall great place to meet people. If you don’t feel that way, the problem probably lies with you. If you are social enough to approach them, they reciprocate the effort. Its proximity to trails and the pass is also a plus. They rotate taps, music, slushees, and have a variety of non-alcoholic options so that there is something...
Read moreWould have loved to stay longer but this is the first brewery I’ve ever visited that loads up on the air fresheners. Not really a good business choice, as customers are looking forward to smelling and tasting your brews.
It’s not a candle store, it’s a place for food and drink. These fake scents really get in the way of enjoying your product. Very easy change to make to improve your brand. There’s a reason no other breweries use these chemicals in their establishments.
Otherwise a great looking place with a wide offering of beer and other drinks like seltzer and non...
