Vermijo Park — Attraction in Colorado Springs

During the day an excellent child friendly park...pet friendly...this park sits right off Colorado Ave which has everything close by. Places to eat, shop, and have fun...Theres a playground for the younger children. A baseball field for the older ones... It's well maintained and we all ask to pick up at least 3 pieces of trash a day... At night the park can become a more dangerous and often ugly park...As witnesses by several violent attacks... Nice quiet little park tucked back on 26th between Colorado and Cimarron. Lots of open area and grass for dogs and has access to trail that runs along Fountain Creek. Not a whole lot of traffic or people usually, but still gotta watch your back cuz there are some shady people/activities in that area sometimes. Still a nice little park to go kick...
