My dad served in Vietnam and was a newspaper writer for the Stars and Stripes. I knew he liked Michael Garman's work, so when I stopped by the store and I had seen the Navy servicemen, I knew what I needed to get for dad for Father's day. I sent them a pic of the emblem I wanted on his arm and the pic wasn't great. The head artist sent Mr an email saying as much. I was having a hard time finding it. Well this artist (sorry, I can't remember her name) found the emblem and did a great job painting it on the figure. Needless to say, my dad absolutely loved it. Michael Garman Gallery is a wonderful place to visit and the sculptures are pure Americana. I recently purchased a number of sculptures as gifts and one of them was not done correctly. The manager and everyone involved fixed the issue immediately and with grace. I was truly impressed with and appreciative of the staff's genuine concern and quick response. Any organization can provide good customer service up to the time of sale. It's the service you get after the sale that really gives you a measure of the organization and Michael Garman's staff is fantastic.
