Starbucks — Restaurant in Colorado Springs

I have never had a bad experience at a Starbucks but today really was unbelievable At their briargate location in Colorado Springs I was here for work and when I went in the barista was having a conversation with the guy in front of me and I thought that's awesome I get up to the counter and I said hello she looked at me like how dare I speak to her so I said hello again once again she looked at me as though I should not be speaking to her so I said usually when somebody says hello that requires a response back I said you are in customer service she then mutters hello. I’m visiting from the east coast and I’ve traveled a lot domestically and internationally over the years and this is definitely in the top 5 of the most pleasant, professional, and efficient Starbucks I’ve ever visited. I visited at 7:15a and was greeted with a “welcome” and a smile at the counter, the attendant at the register looked me in the eyes and spoke clearly, all 5 of the workers were actively preparing or cleaning, they appeared to enjoy their work, the music was light, as orders were ready they clearly called the name and smiled as they handed it to the customer saying “Hope you have a good day”. Service was extremely slow. But the part the aggravates me the most, is while most of us waited ~30 minutes for an order, there was one lady who ordered at the register after most people, and could be seen hovering around the pickup station. After 10 minutes, she said something to one of the workers, and they decided to put her order above the rest, handed her a gift card, and said their apologies, as the lady proceeded to sit outside under an umbrella.
