Just stopped by my local Jimmy John's store at 817 Cheyenne Meadows Road, Colorado Springs, CO. A sign had been posted on the door explaining that this location was not participating in the $1 sub customer appreciation event. Not a big deal to me. I purchased a sandwich anyway. I ordered a Turkey Tom, no mayo, add avocado, add onion and oil and vinegar to the standard lettuce and tomato. Of note, service was friendly, which is why this location received 1 star. I took my sandwich to go, and did not unwrap it in the store to check to see that my order was correct. My receipt stated my order correctly, so I went with that. What I received was a roll with a few slices of turkey and a sprinkling of lettuce and two onions. NO avocado, NO tomato, NO oil or vinegar. Absolute crap. And on "customer appreciation day," at a non-participating location. I am extremely disappointed in the product I received. Perhaps your company and franchises should focus on creating products your customers actually order, as opposed to slopping something together to fulfill your "freaky fast" promise. Thanks for the $8 "sandwich" I could have made 5 times better myself....
Read more8/29 New issue, they were closed at 730 for some reason even though the app and website both say they close at 9, wasn't even a sign on the front door explaining why. I've literally never been at a worse Jimmy Johns
So much for "freaky fast delivery." Placed an order at 1245, finally went out for delivery at 1:37. It is now 2:46 and I still have not received my food, I live a half mile from the store. Called the location and all the guy said was "The driver is out with it should be any minute." No sorry about it being over two hours or the fact that the driver has been out with my order for over an hour. Will update when I finally get my food. Will absolutely not be coming back to this location.
Update. It is 3:20 and I still don't have my food, the app now says delivered sometime in the like 15 minutes since I had last looked at it.
*final update. My food was left in the far corner of my porch where it was not able to be seen without me going all the way outside. No one knocked or anything to notify me my food had arrived, I did not say to just leave it at the door. Would have been useful to get a knock so I knew my food...
Read moreHI. This happened twice today at this Jimmy John's and immediately afterwards at the Subway down the block. Both JJ's and Subway are getting reviewed today because they need to be. I went to the Cheyenne Mountain Jimmy John's this morning. When I walk into any store I make a visible display of greeting to anyone I make eye contact with as a rule. It's what you do. I said "hello" and waved to the 3 workers there. There was zero acknowledgement of my greeting. I thought maybe they didn't hear and repeated my greeting. Still no response, yet, the most portly person there slowly ambled over to the register to take my order. Not sure of gender, I don't want to misgender anyone. But even at the register, after finally acknowledging my presence, "they" still said nothing, not even to ask if they can take my order. Just stood there. This is when I left and went to Subway and got the same treatment. I understand working fast-food sucks and there is little respect in the job, but don't wear that on your sleeve. The experience inspired me to go home and make lunch rather than having visibly unhappy workers...
