With cookies always on my mind, I knew that I needed to treat this craving soon. As a result I went to Kelly’s (owner of KB Sweets) pop-up location at The Garden in Colorado Springs, CO 80903. I choose 3 cookies (Peppermint Mocha, Snickerdoodle & Kitty Cat Sugar Cookie). Now these obviously looked gorgeous, but how do they taste. Well, let me say that they ALL delivered. My wife adored the peppermint mocha cookie. She described it as “perfectly minty with hints of coffee flavor throughout”. That’s high praise from someone who rarely eats cookies! After marveling at the detail on the kitty cat sugar cookie, I dove in. And so did the wife. We both loved how soft this sugar cookie was compared to others. Soft and delicate while still holding its original shape. That’s a difficult balance to do and she nailed it! The snickerdoodle cookie pronounced a consistent cinnamon flavor throughout the entire cookie. Let me tell you that I have phenomenal constraint when it comes to indulgent foods; however, all of these were eaten within 5-10 minutes. Overall, don’t think twice when it comes to ordering cookies from Kelly. Just do it!

Stopped at this spot on a Sunday morning with my husband. The drive thru had one car and we were the only ones in line for the walk up window. Someone was available to take our order quickly. I ordered a blended spooky boo seasonal latte with oatmilk and I was able to customize it to have pumpkin instead of toffee. My husband got a pumpkin cookie cold brew. We also got two sandwhiches. The bread for the sandwiches was the best part otherwise it was a basic breakfast sandwich which was what we expected. In both of the drinks we could really taste each of the ingredients which was amazing. All in all I would say is a decent spot for the coffee lovers who like more than a basic Starbucks coffee.

Coming from out of town, we were craving something pumpkin related! We were greeted with friendly smiles and great customer service! We got the pumpkin streusel cookie and a golden pumpkin (hot) drink. They did ask if we wanted to warm up the pumpkin streusel cookie. It was pretty warmed to where it was mushy, so we had to use our AC to cool it down. Even though we felt that the cookie was too mushy, the pumpkin flavor was great. The golden pumpkin drink you could taste the pumpkin, but I felt that the milk watered it down. Maybe a different type of milk would’ve been better. Above all I love that they gave our boys pup cups and their great customer service!
