In order to go with the holiday traditions, my wife and I ordered Chinese takeout from a local business. We heard great things about Rong Cheng and how it should be our next destination.

We ordered via phone and they told us to come in about 40 minutes. Upon walking in, we were greeted with smiles and thanks as we exchanged pleasantries and payment. The food was on-time, packaged efficiently, and quick.

Overall the food you see was able to serve us for meals across 4 days. They are not light with their portion size here.

To start off, the only thing that didn’t make it to the next day were the fried pork wontons. They were scrumptious. The traditional texture of the wonton met with the pork filling was just too good to pass up. Having them warm and fresh was the key to enjoying these all on the same day. Compliments to the chef on not dousing them in oil.

The chicken and broccoli is by far my favorite dish though. The tenderness of the broccoli was duly noted. It was great to see big bushes of broccoli instead of just stems. The chicken was plentiful and flavorful. Great balance throughout and this would be my #1 order here.

Orange chicken was my wife’s favorite by far. If you’re on the mild side, you would enjoy this orange chicken a bit more. Usually orange chicken is spicier at other restaurants (my preference), but this orange chicken definitely hangs out with the sweeter crew. She loved it.

The beef lo meins presented thicker noodles than other typical Chinese restaurants in the area but still presented that typical beef lo Mein flavor.

The chicken fried rice will definitely hit with those who enjoy white chicken and rice mixed with the typical fixings.

They gave us plenty of steamed white rice and fortune cookies to hold us over.

Also the containers they gave us for our carry out order of each entree was another highlight. The details of making sure that the Tupperware containers are quality enough to keep a tight seal around each of the entrees while storing them for later use in the fridge was a great move to ensure freshness at a later date.

They even threw in a bonus bag of their dessert cookies as a holiday treat. Their generosity and kind gesture of just presenting a special bonus will never go unnoticed with customers. You can tell these owners love their craft and appreciate their fans.

Overall, this place is the definition of your local family Chinese place. They will treat you like family, even when just ordering takeout! Support this business and they will deliver...

My husband only wanted "good chinese food like they have in Edmonton" for his birthday so we decided to try this place out. Prices seemed fair but without knowing sizes or what it comes with, we were skeptical. We ordered 3 dishes: Lemon chicken, pork lo mein, and beef with mushrooms, with an understanding that the beef came with rice, the lo mein with a side of an egg roll and rice, and the lemon chicken with nothing else, or something like that. Unfortunately they were out of the wonton soup which is one of my favorite things from a Chinese restaurant, so right off the bat I was a bit disappointed. We got what we ordered for just shy of $40 and it is a lot of food, so for that, I can't rate it lower than 2 stars. What was disappointing was how bland everything was. My husband legit turned to me and asked where the MSG was. Lemon chicken? More like water breaded chicken. It didn't have any lemon-y flavor at all even though my husband was so excited to try it because the chicken was decently tender and breaded like he likes it. The white rice was nothing special either, nothing to say about it. Note, we do not have Covid19, we both were able to taste the sweet and sour sauce just fine. The lo mein noodles actually tasted a tad burnt, but still somehow flavorless. I was super disappointed that they didn't come with any veggies mixed in, just strips of thinly cut and dry pork with noodles and some bland brown colored sauce. And the best main dish, the mushroom beef, was actually pretty decent, still a tad bland though, felt like it was missing something even though kudos on having lots of mushies in there... The best part about the whole meal was the pork egg roll I ordered with the lo mein noodles, and the sweet and sour sauce packets that came with it. That egg roll was really yummy and crispy, and the sweet and sour packets were what I expect from packets. All in all, our search for a good chinese restaurant continues and maybe by his next birthday we will find a good one to splurge and...

We just ordered this Chinese food from Rong Cheng for the first time today, 10/25/2020. Got it delivered to us. Took 50 min. But it said it would take that long. So it’s fine. I got the general tso’s with a pork egg roll. And my husband got the hunan chicken and spring roll. In the picture, the hunan chicken looked like it was gonna be fried with a red type sauce. Well when we got it, it looked like broccoli and chicken’s chicken. The flat thin pieces, with the almost gravy type sauce. Not sure what happened there. But, let me tell you, just the sides alone! Lord JESUS!!! Sooooo delicious! The pork egg roll was one of the top I’ve literally EVER had! Didn’t taste frozen like 90% that I’ve had. Omgosh I loved it. Such good flavor! And the crab wontons, had the sweet cream cheese filling. FINALLY!!! Somewhere I can go to get the sweeter cream cheese filling! Aaahhhh Omgosh I loved them!!! My general tso’s was alright. The fried rice could be better. But the general tso’s was still better than most Colorado Chinese food places I’ve had. I would literally go here just for the egg rolls and crab wontons. 11/10 for both of those! Decent price too for what we got. Total was $29 something I believe. And I think delivery was only $1 charge. I’d try it again. At least for the...

$91.85 worth of food not including Uber Eats price gouging fees. Portions advertised as pints and quarts but incredibly undersized. Flavorless chicken fried rice, we had to add soy sauce to it. Sesame chicken is over cooked and so dry it turns into jerky while chewing. Lo mein also didn’t have very good flavor, noodles were cooked well at least, no rubber band in it this time. Kani salad is smothered in mayo and not very appetizing. Steamed dumplings tasted like water and the sauce was too garlicky. Wonton soup is way too salty and the broth just tastes like beef broth with soy sauce in it. Miso soup also was not good. The only redeeming part of the meal was the chicken and broccoli, chicken is moist, the broccoli is cooked well and the sauce is good. Over all opinion, don’t order from this restaurant. If you do, do not order online, got price gouged $50+, go into the restaurant if you want to try it.

Not only is this the best place for Chinese in the Springs, but it’s authentic NY style. Check out the fresh crisp veggies in the fried rice. Egg rolls… super crispy outside and filled with goodness on the inside. Customer service is awesome too. *****I’d also like to respond to the review about portion size and pricing. A pint is a pint and a quart is a quart. This is authentic NY style Chinese and the portions are on point as well as the flavor. You’re co planning about a business that was there to serve you on a holiday. Ok, Karen. To the dude with chow men vs lo mein, it looks like they tried to fix it and I believe that with their customer service. Helloooo? Lo mein is the softer noodle, that’s a customer obligation to research and they even tried helping. Shame on you for that review for your negligence and choice to be ignorant. *******
