Louie's Pizza — Restaurant in Colorado Springs

• CUSTOMER BEWARE * Let me start off by saying I'm a long time, loyal customer of Louie's pizza ordering from all 3 locations. However this time ordering from the Fillmore location this was anything but satisfying. Let me explain.... I started an online order for delivery and ordered a LG Calzone and a 20oz Mt. Dew total coming to $14.50. I'm then directed to add an additional $5.50 to my order to meet the minimum mandatory $20.00 delivery fee. Ok, fine whatever! So now I find myself ordering some additional items I really don't want because I'm hungry and just want to get my dinner delivered quickly as possible. So I do this and go to check out total being at that time $21.66 just to find out that there is no C.O.D. option (Cash on Delivery). So I call in and place the order and then told my total is now $31.00. I asked why this would be and I was told that there is a $7.00 delivery charge . Fine whatever 21.66 + 7.00 = 28.66 not 31.00 let me just point that out right there. But at this point after ordering stuff I didn't want to meet their order delivery requirment,, and agreeing to their $7.00 delivery fee. The person on the phone doesn't forget to mention like any other pizza delivery place in Colorado Springs "That driver does not carry anything more but $20.00 in change." So after waiting 30 min for the delivery (which was really what I expected) after being told it would arrive in 10-15 min which is totally unheard of. The girl who delivers my order pulls past my address, parks in the neighbors driveway which is clearly divided by a chain linked fence and proceeds to walk over from their driveway to hand me my order. So since my order is $31.00 clearly my $50 is just under the amount of the $20 the driver carries in change right?? After handing her the 50 she proceeds to ask me if I wanted any change back... I said well yes please (because obviously I'm not going to tip $20 dollars for her rudely parking her vehicle in my in neighbors driveway on top of the $7.00 and some change antipasto salad I didn't want and the $7.00 dollar delivery fee which now meets my initial order of 14.50 for the Calzone and 20oz Mt dew.) Yes I would like some change. She then pulls $10 dollars in single bills from her pocket and says " They only give us $10 for change do you want it back." Really??? So now I am forced to leave this woman at least a $10 tip for a poor and inconsiderate delivery. At this point nevermind how much it cost me. The owners of Louies Pizza better start figuring out how much it cost them because after figuring out they charged me a .99 cent Local Support Fee they failed to mention which I was wondering why the driver had said my total was $32.00. I HOPE THE OWNERS REALIZE THAT UNLESS CORRECTED AND MADE RIGHT I WILL NEVER ORDER FROM ANY OF THEIR ESTABLISHMENTS BASED ON PURE PRINCIPLES! I DO NOT FEEL LIKE A APPRECIATED CUSTOMER! I ONLY FEEL DISRESPECTED AND TAKEN ADVANTAGE OF!

P.S. A 99 CENT LOCAL SUPPORT FEE WHAT IN THE HELL IS THAT ? MORE IMPORTANTLY WHO AUTHORIZED IT???

I'm going to ponder on this one for...

The quality of the "famous" cheesy bread has gone down at this location. I'm not sure about other locations. I just eat at this one because it's closest to my house but no longer giving them my business for certain reasons. I've been eating their cheesy bread for over 10 years at various locations and this location can't seem to get it right. Every time I order the cheese bread there is so much Parmesan cheese caked on top that I literally have to scrape it off to find the actual cheese. And the flavor has changed as well I could have sworn they used to use a garlic butter on top but it's always Bland. I also question the sanitation and cleanliness of this location. The place just looks and feels really dirty to me and needs some upgrades. Oh and one more thing to add to the list. Over the past 10 years the price of the cheesy bread I order is different every single time. There is no consistency in how they charge people. And it's hugely different. Some days I'll pay 6, other days I'll pay 12 or whatever they feel like. It's really bizarre and I've questioned it before and they never have a good answer. I felt the need to write this review because getting this meal for me is a treat and something I look forward to and if there is a way to improve the quality based on customer reviews than I think it's...

Food was great. The harassing phone calls during dinner from Louie...not so much. When I originally placed my order, an improperly trained employee misquoted the price of my pizza to me. He told me it was 16.28$, when the delivery driver arrived with my pizza, I saw he charged me for a "veggie alfredo" on the receipt for 18.29$...I informed the delivery driver of the error. I told him, I wouldn't be tipping him, he could reconcile the error back at the shop and keep the 2$ I was overcharged as his tip. I receive a call from Louie himself during the middle of dinner with my wife and child. He doesn't want to apologize. He wants to argue with me, talk over me, and "clarify". I informed him that I was busy having dinner, and that he needed to clarify his prices to his employees, not me, and I hung up my phone. It rings again... Is this really happening? Is the owner of a pizza chain harassing his customers? I didn't answer the second call... I have better things to do than argue with business owners about their moronic employees. Like write...
