So to start this, I've worked customer service and fast food so I understand sometimes things go wrong.
This isn't just that.
This was the singular worst customer service experience I've ever had at any establishment.
They were not busy when I showed up and I placed an order for two basic sandwiches for curbside pickup.
As we pass the 15 minute waiting mark, I've had employees hanging out, outside around my car and nobody bringing my two hot and spicies.
So I call the store and explained the situation and they said they didn't have any mobile orders so I gave them my order number and what it was and they said they'd have it right out.
And they did. Within moments, my order was brought to me with an employee with a headset on who instead of apologizing to me, the customer, talked into her headset and presumably, at the time for some reason, another employee, "Yeah we're having problems with mobile orders," and walked away.
I reached into the bag and found that my sandwiches were barely warm at all and had the proper order number on the receipt so I said, "Excuse me."
She continued to walk away.
Then as she was getting further, I said it again loud enough for her to certainly hear me.
She continued to walk away and acted as if she couldn't hear me (which she undoubtedly could).
So I took the food inside and waited and eventually spoke to an employee who was the one and only saving grace of my entire experience. She handled the situation nearly perfectly and said the sandwiches could be remade.
She told another employee that James would be remaking it for me so that he knew to keep an eye out.
Within a minute, James called out the order and the person who was supposed to be on lookout for this order decided restocking was more important than taking care of customers.
A few minutes went by and there was still confusion amongst the staff.
Then a manager came over and decided the right thing to ask me was, "Did you have four sandwiches?"
She decided to put the blame on me for their shortcomings and asked a question framed to make me the problem instead of something neutral or asking her staff.
I explained the situation, yet again because communication at this store is not something that appears to be present in their structure with customers or one another and five minutes after I walked in and 4 after my order was made, I got my slightly warmer 10 minutes fresher sandwiches I paid for 20 minutes ago.
I will never support this establishment in particular again and neither should you.

Read moreWe have had multiple issues with this McDonald's over the past two years. We moved to COS in 2017 and went to this location - they were on it! Firing on all cylinders. In 2018, something changed, maybe managers? We started noticing a decrease in the quality of the service. Now, every time we go there, the line for the drive thru is unbelievable. I know, they have no control of the amount of people in the line, where they do though is in how fast they get everyone's orders placed and the correct order out to them. They have repeatedly fallen short on this.
The last several times we have gone there, they tell us that our food is cooking and could we pull into one of the reserved spots. So we do and we wait. And wait. And wait. Then they finally bring our food. We have five children and two adults in our family. What happened today is what prompted me to write this review.
I have a special needs son and we were at his appointments all morning and were heading to another. Our other four children were in the car and me and my wife, and the kids, were all very hungry. We stopped off at this location to get bite. The line was as it usually was, long. We placed our order - I got the number 9 (two cheeseburgers, medium fry), I ordered 3 cheeseburgers for my kids and 4 small fries, we also ordered a 6pc and 4 pc chicken nuggets meal. We got our drinks and were told that our food is cooking, could we pull forward to a reserved spot. We waited about 6 minutes for our food. When it came, we then divided up the fries and got on the highway. As my wife went into the other bag to get the main meals, we had one cheeseburger and the chicken nuggets. That's it. Nothing else. They forgot the other 4 cheeseburgers.
We called them and they stated that if we returned, they would give us the cheeseburgers. Since we were already on the highway, we were a little too far to go back. I asked if they could refund us the cost of the cheeseburgers, the manager claimed that they could not do that. I was furious! I know had 4 very hungry kids who couldn't get their lunch.
We will not be going back there again in the future.
UPDATE* - The manager gave us the 4 cheeseburgers we were missing from the order earlier today. Still not happy that it occurred though. My recommendation to this McDonald's would be to slow down and focus on the orders - it seems that their standard is more on how fast they get an order out versus if...
Read moreToday I went into the McDonald's off of Woodmen road and had the most abysmal experience, though it might have been my fault for dining in/curbsiding my order. Me and my Partner met up in the McDonalds dining room to order our food on the app for pick up and dine in. Unfortunately we decided to sit on the larger half of the dining room which is glorified break room for McDonalds staff. A few members of the restaurant took their break there with no issue, but one particular staff member shouted cuss words and slurs with his friends while making the dining experience unbearable. We elected to leave and change our order to curbside, where we were further disappointed. We waited for 10-15 minutes for our food watching multiple door dash orders and other customers get their food before us then when I went in to the store to inquire about the wait time for our order, I found the order sitting in the pick up bag with my curbside number and name. The food had started to get cold so we decided to eat it quickly and then realized that a straw had been forgotten. I went in to find one realizing there were are no self serve straws or napkins. I looked around for anyone and couldn't find anyone near the register and I had no way of contacting them. I walked around and waved down an employee who was on her phone, much like her other co-workers, and she reluctantly walked over and gave me a straw. I go back outside expecting this to be the end of it and we discovered are drink had one lone ice cube floating around and was very watered down and there was no sauce included in our order. I get again entered and had to call out to a different employee while interrupting their conversation, which they seemed upset about. She grabbed me a sauce container. I left and finally got to dig in to my luke-warm food and watered down soda. I am sad to see a resteraunt that brought me so much joy and happy memories reduced to such a sorry state. I will only ever order drive thru...
