If you want fast food and are in the 8th Street area of Colorado Springs this is the place for you to try; if you have about an hour to waste, don't mind self-service and have the overwhelming urge to feel as though you paid an establishment for burdening them in exchange for a McDouble.
How is it possible that this is the most unorganized, customer-unfriendly McDonald's I have ever set foot in? I would chalk it up to a bad day but I was one of probably three customers dining in my and when I walked in, an employee was moderating two different arguments. Hats off for the multitasking skills, but I would rather them (and I am guessing the patrons ahead felt the same way) be put to use actually preparing meat-disks for indiscriminate palates that need to slam some grub in a hurry!
I ordered at the kiosk (mainly because there were NO employees at the front counter for at least three minutes) and sat down with my numbered table tent.
After 15 minutes (and I was one of two customers in there) I walked up to the counter to see what was going on. No employee greeted me and 4 minutes later (yes, I started timing things at that point because it was laughable) an employee walked up to the shelf in front of me (never acknowledged me) and sat a to-go bag down... Even though I ordered "dine-in" and I could see my table locator number on it! I took the bag but never got my drink cup! Another three minutes and finally someone walked by... I basically had to tackle them to get their attention for a drink cup!!
19... That's not a typo, nineteen minutes to get a McDouble and another three or so for my drink cup. They didn't bring the order to my table, acknowledge me, tell me to kiss their *ss, NOTHING! It was like it was run by a bunch of zombies; at about the same speed!!!
I could have went to a local diner and had a steak cooked and plated in this amount of time!!!

Read moreI used to meet my old roommate and best friend here every morning for breakfast. It was the only time that we could catch up and spend quality time together because of our busy schedules. I hadn't been to this McDonald's in a few weeks because I was out of town and I showed up on my best friend's birthday to surprise him. When I went in the bathroom there was puke on the floor, which I didn't understand because there's a toilet and a trash can in the stall. I told the staff about it and they sent maintenance to clean it up. The next day I didn't show up for breakfast because I had a meeting but the day after that I did show up at 5:00 a.m. I went in the bathroom, and there was puke on the floor again. Obviously it was from the night before because I was the first person in the bathroom. I told the staff that there was puke on the floor. The maintenance man cleaned it up. The next day I showed up to meet my best friend for breakfast and the manager told me that I am banned from coming here because I puked on the floor five times and she has been watching me for 4 months straight and she knows it was me. I'm 40 years old. I used to clean houses for a living. I would never puke on the floor especially if there's a trash can and a toilet. I think this manager doesn't like me because I'm handicapped and I pushed a walker around because I have a spinal injury. But it's very upsetting that I can't meet my best friend here every day for breakfast anymore because obviously the night manager isn't checking the bathrooms at night to make sure they are clean. I tried to get my best friend to go to another McDonald's and we tried different ones but he likes this one because it's closer to where he lives and he walks here in the morning. Read moreI've ordered via mobile app and planned to pick it up via drive thru..so at 1st window I told them the order code..they say thank you and u may pick up ur order at the next window...at the next window..they couldn't find my order as it didn't go through the system as they claimed. I showed them the order..and the address I was supposed to pick up at..they say..ok can u drive through the reserved parking no 1 and we will be there shortly...20 mins later..the same lady came and asked is "this" is my order..I said no..and politely said I've been waiting here for 20 mins to get my order..and she said..be right with u I'm gonna call the manager.. (ok they might be really busy and I'm trying to be accommodating and understanding how hectic fast food joint is)..another 15 mins!..ok..I parked my car..and went inside. The lady who told me to wait just passed me and didn't ask anything bout it..and lo and behold..it wasn't busy at all....stood for few minutes till I was helped..I told the one in front that I've been waiting for 30 minutes just to get the order..they were clueless!!!! They looked at my order on my phone and started making them. No sorry ..nothing. I guess the lady who asked me to wait didn't tell anybody. Hey..I get it..we all have mini amnesia moments..but u've seen me twice already and I shouldn't have begged for attention should I? I could have just drove home..but this is the thing with mobile app..no way u could get a refund and either way u screwed.. I had to sucked it up and made my money worth every penny and got that orders made. Was it worth it??
