Absolutely horrendous customer service at this restaurant! I have never given a Google review, but my experience was so bad that I needed to submit something immediately.
I ordered the Mediterranean bowl (after checking the ingredients list over twice, as I am allergic to olives). The menu lists out what I had assumed to be all of the ingredients. When I received the food, there were halved black olives in the bowl. I kindly notified the staff that I could not eat the bowl. I had asked the woman working the front counter why they had chosen to list all items, except for the olives, she became annoyed and said that they use a pre-packaged mix for their food that the olives are part of. She never once apologized about the issue or expressed any concern about the severity of the situation.
I asked for my money back or something cheaper from the menu - since I would not be eating the salad. She said they would make a grilled cheese. She then walked into the kitchen and immediately started talking loudly to the other woman in front of the open window to the rest of the restaurant about how “they can’t list every ingredient” (even though they listed all of them except for one) and how annoyed she was that they had to make something else for me for free. As a heads up there were only two other people waiting (who had already ordered in front of me), so it wasn’t like they were swamped and I was a big inconvenience holding up the line.
When the sandwich was ready, the other woman then threw the to-go box at me. I said thank you, and as I had tried to kindly point out that it may be smart just to add the one missing ingredient to the menu, she turned around as I was mid-sentence and stormed back to the kitchen, huffing “enjoy your food”. Based on their attitudes, I am more concerned now that they may have spit in the food.
I understand it may not have been those individual women’s faults that it was not listed on the menu, but the tiniest amount of sympathy for what was a scary situation for me would have gone a long way. And to be so unbelievably rude is unacceptable.
I have never in my life experienced such blatant disrespect from anyone, let alone when trying to be kind to them. I would never give this business another penny if that how all of their...
Read moreThis is now the third time in a row we've visited Ola Garden of the Gods Rd and were told they were not making certain menu items. Even at this point I would typically give the benefit of the doubt, however, there was literally no one else in the juice bar, we were the ONLY customers and we were told by the employee at the register, quote, "they only had 3 people working that day and so it was too much trouble to do the prep for the acai bowls"?! The bowls are good, expensive and we tip every time, but maybe Ola should hire some employees who actually want to make the items on their menu. Do not want to order food from someone who cares that little about it or finds the process so taxing that, even when literally no other customers are in the store, the THREE employees there can't be bothered to do a job they were presumably hired to do. There's a nice place in nearby Old Colorado City we'll go to...

During my visit from sunny San Diego, I could't resist indulging in Ola's renowned juices, açai bowls, and overnight oats- and let me tell you, they exceeded all expectations! I would recommend "Bounce Back Juice", The Banana nut overnight oats, and the satisfying Mountain Baya Açai bowl.
I can't wait to return on my next visit. Whether you're a local or just passing through, make sure to add Ola to your list of must-visit spots. With their quality, friendly service, and delectable offerings, it's a destination worth returning to time...
