If you have never been to Chick-fil-A, I would recommend the number 1, the chicken sandwich, which comes with pickles (I'm not a fan of that), waffle fries, and a drink. They have Coke products, lemonade, diet or regular, and sweet tea (I cannot remember if they have unsweetened). Throughout the year, they will also have special shakes, such as the peach one during summer, the Shamrock one (mint) in March, and the candy cane one in December. Back to the food, if you do not want to eat a sandwich, the nuggets are always a great choice and they have a few different sauces for you to choose from, Polynesian - a sweet red colored sauce, Chick-fil-A- I believe it is made with barbecue, mayonnaise, and a little bit of mustard, and they also have the regular condiments, ketchup, mayonnaise, and mustard. If you have not tried it, I would recommend mixing some ketchup and mayonnaise together and dipping your fries in that chef's kiss The chicken comes in fried or grilled form, both of which are tasty. They also have wraps and salads. So if you don't eat meat, you can always get a salad. I'm sure it won't be the best meatless meal you've ever had, but you at least have an option. As for this particular Chick-fil-A location, it is always busy, especially at meal times (breakfast, before everyone heads to work, lunch, and dinner), so if you are heading there during peak hours, plan for a little extra time. Even with how busy they are, they are always on top of the orders and getting the orders made correctly. I do wish that they had the 30 count meal, don't judge, it's for my kids to share lol, like the Chick-fil-A location at Citadel Crossing, but they currently do not. Other than that, it's a great place to stop in to eat, if they have tables, or to just drive thru and get your food to go. I will say that Chick-fil-A is definitely one of the more pricier drive thru restaurants. No dollar menu here (or...
Read moreIt had begun snowing and Chick-fil-A is pretty far from where I live regardless if I go to the one on Garden of the Gods or the one on Powers I'm significantly closer to the one at the mall but the one at the mall closes at 9 does not go above and beyond and most importantly for me does not have a drive-thru! This one has two and the sign that says two lanes ahead confuses many people so I figured I would put pictures on here regarding it.
So they made the most delicious chicken noodle soup that when I asked if it came from a can it does not and it does not taste like it comes with a can with the mushy mushy noodles - it was great! All of my experiences at Garden of the Gods have been great - many of my other reviews do take an account my lifetime experiences and that's why I give out a lot of fours or a lot of ones even if I had good service the one time but here I have had good service even on my eccentric father goes and then he gives them a Post-It note or I wrote him a list of what we would like since he has a doctor a block away and then he has the cashier ring it up he pays they sign the Post-it note and the receipt and it doesn't matter where he goes this is what he does and he lets them know that if my order is wrong I will call back and complain... Because I don't write to put no pickles because I love pickles... Or other places I don't say no sauce because I'm a super big fan of sauce particularly sauce I find spicy that most people would not... But it's been amazing every time I I have been to this Chick-fil-A it has...
Read moreHorrible service this morning, I asked for a half and half ice coffee; which kind you they have made for me twice a week for the last year and a half with out a problem. But for some reason this time Manager Madison refused and said they don’t do that & that all previous employees who have must not have been trained correctly. Fine I moved on, Then I kindly asked for whip cream on the coffee which it’s iced and I’ve never had a problem with and she again blatantly declined to put it in the coffee although they do on blended ice coffee but some how it was and issue so instead she put the whipping in a side container; which makes no sense as that must have costed the company more money to give me a container with whip topping than to simply add it to the coffee as they’ve done in the past. When I asked for the managers name whom I had talked to, the window cashier refused to give me her name, claiming she didn’t know her name and she couldn’t give it to me. I wasn’t given her name Till I said I wouldn’t leave till I got it. It is unfortunate that this locations customer service has been going down hill fast for the past 6 months. It’s truly sad because they were known for having exceptional service but to be petty and give me whip cream on a side cup it simply rude and unprofessional and the whole interaction...
