Hot, Fresh Food at Great Prices! Amazing Staff! I went to this Village Inn, during an off peak time. I was surprised to find it, quite busy. Some people waiting for a table, left because of the wait. I am so glad that I stayed! I thought that it might be busy, because it was short staffed. While it could have benefited from a couple more wait staff, that wasn’t the reason that it was busy. There are two reasons that this is a popular place. 1: The food is simply wonderful! The food is served quick, but with a great deal more care, than most diners. I had a veggie skillet and the veggies were tender, but not overcooked. The potatoes were crisp. The eggs were great, the pancakes; awesome! 2: The people working at this restaurant are a great team! The manager, Coleen goes out of her way to make you feel welcome and makes certain that your meal and experience is terrific! She is fabulous at her job! My server, Ashley was friendly and did a wonderful job! This restaurant is amazing. Just be aware that the secret is out, it is busy, but so worth the wait! I’ll be returning and recommending this restaurant to many people.

Going in the evening is NOT good at all. I ordered the Rio Grande Skillet, As I have always do. Obviously after you ordered the same dish, you do know what it comes with. No where in the description says “avocado”. However, the avocado wouldn’t be an issue, if it wasn’t for been rotted. Our waiter, never offer the choice between the meats, neither brought sour cream or pico de Gallo, I had to ask for the jalapeño slices, when my husband call him to ask for the pancakes he was like; it comes with it...like duh! When I brought it up to “the manager” all he said was “Okay, thank you”, night staff SUPER RUDE!!! On the other hand, morning staff is like ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️+ always making sure everything is going good.

I ordered the california skillet with french toast. Service is good, the pies look to die for. I asked for the french toast after I finished the skillet- no problem. Nice. Skillet is really good!!! Cheesy, not over the top with the hollandaise sauce, really good flavor. I like this! French toast is a small order but man...look at that. Mmm so spongy and tasty. I'm gonna have to order another french toast... Ok didn't order french toast, I got some pumpkin pie instead. Oh very good...mmmm Overall great place to eat, good food good service, and walked away with a bill for only $20 (french toast was an extra buck).

We where happy to see a Village Inn close by so we stopped for breakfast after losing our dog the day before he died on us ...so we where still in grieving moments ...we got a table that girl was nice...but...the server was careless and picked who he wanted to be nice to... i guess ...I ordered water & coffee first ..and got my coffee soon but had to wait a long time for my water ...I reminded him and he just blew me off like yeah whatever..he keeps bringing drinks to others asking them how they doing..not us ones ...no just didn't give a rats ass about us...keep talking nonsense to others..bla bla...and looking at me as he walks by a few times ignoring me on purpose ! ...I was getting very upset about his careless attitude...then my husband said he will remind him again...he ordered the water again and now this useless incompetent person brings 2 waters but looks at my husband while serving it .. and is trying to ignore me again...he wants to play it off by his not so funny dumb jokes he likes to spread to everyone...he needs to go back to customers service classes and should be reminded that customers do bring his paychecks in...I felt like he was being a racist to me ...or doesn't like to take orders from women in general...very self centered individual he is ...because he constantly tried to ignore me and what i was saying ..that was a very unpleasant visit to this location...the only thing was right was my food which I give a big compliment to the cooks ..great job guys ..but yeah that server thinks he is in a music video as a rapper pretend to be a server or something ...very unprofessional and careless...acting like we need to serve him ..unbelievable ...most customers looked at him like what's wrong with him...no happy faces in there besides some of his buddys i guess he had fun to talk to ...dude this is how you don't get tips if you are being so freaking careless and rude to woman !!!! smh ..i ain't taking crap like that from nobody ...

Not a very good ending to a not very good experience. We ordered coffee and a soda, the pot of coffee was not only dirty but covered in old coffee. The soda was very flat and tasted horrible. We replaced it with coffee. The service was "ok", though my boyfriend ordered a vib with his eggs over medium and they came out over easy, the waffle to hard to even cut, his sausage burnt to a crisp. He wasnt happy at all. My meal was on par. But the worst part is when we left. I'm on vacation from another state and dont carry much cash on me and all I had was 20s, I had to get change for the waitresses tip, her name was "ashbee" well she saw no tip on the table as we paid, gave us a very ugly look and walked into the back to tell her coworkers she didn't receive a tip, well little did she know, I had to get change for her tip. Well I walked back to the table to place her tip on the table and I could her the coworker she was talking with say in a very sarcastic voice "you're to good for a tip, you'd dont need one" at this point I'm baffled. I get she was upset, I used to serve to but at least wait until I leave the building to make the assumption of no tip. At this point she really doesnt deserve one, you do not talk about your customers where other customers can you especially not the ones you're talking about! She deserves to be fired! I travel to this location a lot and can officially say I will never return and will spread the word to fellow travelers and anyone I know, not to come here....

I deliberately called ahead to speak to a Manager for the kids eat free day... the ad closely stated that children under 10 eat free...I saw no limit to that or specifically stating one child per etc. To which Jason the shift supervisor tells me yes kids eat free.. still no underlying requirement. I get all the way there sat down order our drinks only to be told that I can only have one child free and the other must pay... now I'm livid because you didn't specify on the phone anything to the effect... he comes out tells me yes he made the mistake and I asked how can we work his mistake out to which he tells me I can only do one kid free with an attitude like I'm inconveniencing him and his time... there is only one of us being paid to stand here and be nasty.. but I digress...we sat there and I looked at my children and told them get their things we're leaving we were lied to and now we are slyly being disrespected by this so called Manager that puts his feet on chairs and smacks his gum in his mouth while addressing paying customers... so needless to say that he didn't make my day any better then I had already been experiencing and we left quite dissatisfied... you lost 20 30 50 dollars because you couldn't waive a 4 dollar kids meal... keep up the good work...
