Rizuto's Ice Cream Inc. — Restaurant in Colorado Springs

Been going here for years and tonight was the worst service ive ever received at this place. The big guy at the registers looked and acted pissed off at the world. He was rude and very abrupt. Wasnt welcoming at all abd rushed us through our order. The tall "kid" seemed lost. I ordered a huge banana split for my boys and i to share and the kid only asked me what kind of icecream i wanted. He then disappeared for a few minutes and when he returned my banana split had no sauces on it and was overflowing with ice cream and whip cream. When i asked him for the sauces he looked surprized that i actually wanted butterscotch, strawberry and caramel.. which he gave me choco instead of the caramel. It was so full and melty that i didnt even get out of the store without it dripping all over me and my clothes. I set it down on the counter to grab napkins and clean up the drips. The kid just completly ignored me, didnt offer to help at all and proceeded to take the order of some other ppl who had just walked in. I live 3 blocks away and in the 4 minutes it took to get home i have a huge mess all over my clothes and on my car seats. Not a happy customer. If i get tgat kind of service again i wont be returning thats for sure.

To the big guy...if you hate your job so much let me know cuz ill gladly work there. Its suppose to be a place of happiness so smile...

The ice cream is good but the service is atrocious. There was a young girl with dark hair & greenish highlights that provided the worst service I've ever received. It was so bad that rather than ordering for all four of us, after we saw the first order, we left. My mother order 2 regular scoops. This young girl put it in a kiddie size cup. There was more ice cream hanging and dripping over the sides than there was in the cup. When I told her we couldn't possibly take it in the car like that, her eyes glazed over and she starred at me like I was a 5-legged monkey. Finally, feeling a bit sorry for how clueless she was, i asked her to put it in a regular size cup. She had to get help for this task. So, along with a long haired young man, they contemplated how to do this for a good 5 minutes. Eventually they decided to just place the tiny cup inside the regular cup. So now we had 2 cups of liquid ice cream. We declined ordering anything else, paid the snotty girl and left. As soon as we got to the door, we had such a mess that we threw out what was now ice milk and went to Baskin Robbins. I don't think we will be returning to Rizuto's anytime soon. It's a real shame because we had been going there for more than a decade. Unfortunately, the service has been declining for awhile and this was the last straw for our group....

And the value thereof was great, for with but a few shekels, a man could satisfy his soul with sweetness, and his children could rejoice in the delight of frozen treats. Verily, the portions were generous, and the quality was as the finest manna from heaven.

And the employees of the Ice Cream Shop were like angels in the house of the Lord. Their countenances were bright, and their spirits were ever kind. They served with gladness and treated all who entered with great respect and love.

Thus, the fame of the Ice Cream Shop of Wonders spread far and wide, and it was said among the people, "Blessed are those who partake of its bounty, for they shall be satisfied and find joy." And the land was filled with the sound of laughter and the taste of sweetness, as it was in the days...
