I went to this subway bc I love the double chocolate chip cookies. I walked inside and loudly said hello a few times and I honestly thought I might be the only person there for quite a while. I was inside for at least 10-15 mins before someone came to the front. The lady was very polite and greeted me with a friendly smile. I ordered cookies and even left a cash tip, despite the wait time. I went outside to smoke a cigarette and decided to place an order or 2 from my mobile device at the taco bell right next door. (a double stacked taco and Cinnabon delights) I came back to subway (thinking i would order a few more cookies to take home with me) at around 11:20-11:30 pm. I was immediately stopped as I was walking through the door by Michael, who told me that the store was "basically" closed. He said "I'm trying to do some stuff with the restaurant" as he was rearranging tables. I told him that I would just go outside and get out of the way. LITERALLY 2 MINUTES LATER 2 people walk in and suddenly THEY ARE OPEN AGAIN!!!! So I walk back inside and Michael says "Do I need to count to 3? I just told you that you aren't allowed in here and you need to leave now!!" As 2 more customers walk inside. I asked him why I'm not allowed in the store and he wouldn't tell me so I made sure I asked for his name. I'M NOT SURE IF IT WAS BECAUSE I AM PHYSICALLY HANDICAPPED OR BECAUSE I HAD A BACKPACK AND A GROCERY BAG AND HE ASSUMED THAT I AM HOMELESS?!?!?! I have no Idea why this employee asked me if he needed to count to 3... like I'm a 2 year old child or maybe he thought I was mentally handicapped because my spine is deformed?!?! I really have no clue why he singled me out, especially when he wasn't present when i placed or picked up any of my 3 total orders from subway or taco bell. This employee was the most unprofessional person I have met in a really long time. ...AND AS I AM WRITING THIS REVIEW HE COMES NEXT DOOR TO TACO BELL AND TELLS ME I HAVE TO LEAVE OR HE IS CALLING THE COPS. I repeatedly asked him why did I have to leave but no one else was forced to leave either of the stores?!?! He said LOOK B*TCH, I don't have to tell you a reason. Maybe I run both stores, Taco Bell and Subway. I told him that I was a paying customer at both stores. (Pictures of my orders not including the double stacked taco i ordered and consumed while i was inside taco bell) He said "No you're not a customer. You need to leave now, you retarded HUNCHBACK OF NOTRE DAME."
All I have to say is this is absolutely insane and ridiculous. I have NEVER IN MY ENTIRE LIFE cried my eyes out, been so upset, offended or felt so disrespected and ridiculed by someone, especially an employee, much less a MANAGER, just from the simple act of walking into a restaurant/fast food establishment to purchase something to eat because I was hungry. This guy should be fired for treating me inhumane. He obviously feels like he controls every aspect of both establishments and thinks he can get away with doing ABSOLUTELY ANYTHING without having any consequences, especially making fun of someone who is a HANDICAPPED/DISABLED, INNOCENT PAYING CUSTOMER. I am seriously considering calling a lawyer first thing...
Read moreThis subway has one excellent employee that I can tell takes great pride in making sandwiches; Dominique. Her sandwiches are photo worthy and she makes sure to balance ingredients and sauces across the sub. Every other employee just seems to throw stuff on there. Dominique's sauce lines are perfect, weaving back and forth across the sandwich to get some in every bite when most employees just do a massive line of sauce from one end to the other so you have parts with no sauce and some that have way way too much. Five stars for Dominique, but due to the rest of the staff the store gets an overall 3 stars. It would of been four stars, but I got a sandwich a few weeks ago and when my wife opened it there was a little bug in the lettuce. I went back and told the guy that was working at the time and he said he would replace it for free but ended up charging me and taking down my name and number for the manager to call me and make it right. I never received a call and on return visit the subject was just ignored. I hate feeling like I need to check my sandwiches before I leave the store now because my wife isn't going to touch a sub that has a bug in it when she opens it up and I don't blame her. So at this point I will continue to go during night shift when Dominique is working because she is friendly, professional, and actually makes sandwiches...
Read moreThis place was horrible. I would use names but all their name tags are blank. Went in on 2/17 and the guy who took care of us (with scars on his arm) made sandwiches before ours, took payments and never changed his gloves or washed his hands. He moves and acts like a complete stoner and talked at a whisper the whole time. He destroyed the bread while attempting to cut it. Also touched his whole arm on the bread when cutting at the end. We also watched him make about 5 orders after ours, never washing his hands or changing gloves, and one of them he completely forgot who he was taking care of and left the lead person standing there.. Who hires and trains at this location??? You are a health department call away from disaster! The woman with all the tattoos was no better. Clearly they don't care about this job at all.. this was a weekly place for us to go but now will never return as long as this is your standard. Also nothing stocked or clean, had to leave without lids to our drinks. The bathroom was not stocked either had to dry my hands on...
