I've had a few bad experiences with this location in the past.. but have always just never took the time to write a review.

I'm not quite sure what happened to this place. It been about a solid 2 years of patience for me but wow... this tacobell has gone horrible with its service, and I finally took the time to write a review.. I am so confused how it got to being everyone favorite place with good, quick, and professional service.. to bad, slow, and questionable service.

I ordered through the app, knowing the drive through might be really crowded around this time of night. The order screen asked me to proceed to the Order Desk when I arrive, in order to let them know that I'm at the location and ready to pick up my meal. I wasn't given that option as I got to the location, since the front doors were locked.

I thought, it might be a one time thing.. so no worries.. I decided to go through the drive through. Got in line at the dive-through and the operator asked for my order. I explained to her that I'm here for a pick up. She asked if my name was "Matthew". I told her no, and told her my name so she can look me up.. she couldnt find it and she told me to proceed to the second window. I waited in the drive through line for another 30 mins (5 cars were ahead of me) before I reached the first window.

There she asked me for payment, which I replied that I'm a prepaid customer with an online order. She asked if my name was Matthew and I told her no... instead of her telling someone to iron out the details she just told me to move along to the second window.

15 mins later (after the car in front of me received their food), the gentleman at the second window had trouble finding my order.. it was about another 10 mins of confusion, before they asked me to drive to the front of the building to wait for my order there... I felt horrible for the people behind me as I (at the time) felt I was the issue.

I saw an employee carry my food out to me while another had to unlock the front doors to let him out.. the very doors that should have been unlocked to avoid all this.

As I left the establishment I saw the drive-through packed with at least 12 cars... I can only imagine the horror it would be to be stuck in a linger line than what I had gone through.

Experience felt: waste of time, lack of good experience, but at least there was an apology.

About an hour and 20 mins for some tacos. Honestly as crazy as it sounds I would have taken the time to drive to Constitution and Powers to get McDonald's instead.

Got rid of the app right away.. I DO NOT RECOMMEND ordering online or through the app as the experience was horrible.

What is going...

This location is by far the worst Taco Bell I have ever been to. Placed an mobile app order, proceeded to store and checked in, well thought I checked in, I first had to wave somebody down from out of the back but they were either to busy talking amongst themselves or had AirPods in and couldn't hear myself and about 4 other customers calling to either get info or get there order corrected or placed. I guess now that they have tablets they feel they need to show 0 attention to the front counter. After finally getting help and there attention I was told my order was checked in and it would be just a few moments, well that few moments turned into an hour wait and having to speak with multiple different employees before even getting a decent answer. Turns out the first nor the second employee checked my food in, so I had been standing for 40 minutes at that point I then get frustrated and ask another employee he literally looks at me and walks away says nothing not a single word to me. I am then approached by an older gentleman who asked what my problem was, explained the situation of now being here an hour waiting, speaking with 5 employees at this point and not to mention watching about 10 orders go out that literally walked in an ordered after I had already been standing for 40 minutes. He approached me to let me know again my order was never checked in and that they deleted it and no longer have it. I cannot even believe the level of disrespect and lack of customer service I received. Finally get my order for it to be wrong and having to wait to again flag another employee down. I just don't even understand how the manager has a job or any of the employees at all, the lack of management and work ethic in that place is ridiculous. How does this Taco Bell even stay afloat? If I were the owner of this chain I would look into seriously finding new management and staff. Absolutely ridiculous. Get your AirPods out of your ears and start paying attention to what's going on in your store. The two stars is really...

Truth be told, I don't expect much in terms of customer service for a fast food drive-thru, however, the absolute absurd behavior from these employees was pretty surprising to me. To the managers of this establishment, you have got to do better. You CANNOT just allow your employees to act any kind of way. My husband and I came here around 8:20 p.m. Sunday evening (9/10/23 to be exact). Half of the menu screen was blacked out and the screen at the speaker was also blacked out. I had to ask the cashier about prices and menu items. The cashier was obviously annoyed with my questions so I let her know that half of the menu was blacked out. Her response to me was, "Well there's not much we can do about that." (With an attitude). I just let her know that I didn't know if she was aware or not. I let that slide. I asked her how much extra it would be to make the tacos supreme or add sour cream and she gave me a price. We decided not to get sour cream and finalized the order. Her whole attitude just came across like she was annoyed to even be taking our order. I said something to my husband as we were driving to the window and he even told me to just to move on and go somewhere else. It was late and we were hungry. I just wanted to get my order and go so I was going to try and brush all that off, but I pulled up to the window and the cashier opens the window. All I hear is somebody from the back yelling out, "NOW they don't want sour cream!" and the cashier starts yelling back something at them which I thought was completely absurd. I was in such disbelief at the horrific customer service that I yelled back, "Nevermind!" so the person in back could hear me and I just drove off and went to another Taco Bell. The employees at the Dublin and Power's Taco Bell were so much better. We should have just went there in the first place. Get it together Palmer Park and Powers Taco Bell because this type of customer service is completely unacceptable. Sorry, not sorry, but hire...

Goddamn... you seriously need to start enforcing a policy to where your employees aren't completely high out of their minds. I arrived at the drive through and was asked to wait a moment. It took them 14 minutes to get back to the intercom system. Then once I pulled up to the window the curly haird bearded Hispanic man tried to ring me up not once not twice but 3 times. After I told him I had already paid he looked at me dumbfounded like I was an alien speaking to him in a foreign language then he handed me someone else's order. Had no idea what I had ordered and instructed him multiple times on my order this dude needs to be fired immediately. Completely incompetent I'd rather have driven 20 miles outside of town rather than spend 45 minutes in the drive through coaching this guy how to take my order and do his job. Clearly a symptom of minimum wages for minimum skill. Absolutely ridiculous. It shouldn't take 3 employees telling this idiot which order is mine before someone finally steps in to ensure it's right. And it's now been 50 minutes of sitting in this drive through as im waiting on my order

My recent visit to the Taco Bell on Powers and Palmer Park in Colorado Springs left me extremely dissatisfied. Not only did they not have any chulupas or cinnesticks available, but to make matters worse, they were unable to accept cash as payment. This is truly unacceptable for a fast food restaurant of this caliber. As a loyal customer, I expected better from Taco Bell. The lack of essential menu items not only hindered my dining experience but also made me question the quality of service provided at this location. Furthermore, the inability to accept cash added an unnecessary inconvenience to my visit. I hope that Taco Bell takes note of these issues and addresses them promptly. As a reputable fast food chain, it is crucial to ensure consistency across all locations and provide customers with the menu items they expect. In conclusion, my nightmarish experience at Taco Bell on Powers and Palmer Park in Colorado Springs was far from satisfactory. I sincerely hope that improvements are made to avoid disappointing future customers

First of all, there was a weird voice at the intercom that at first sounded like a child was there, and then a lady came on to take out order. When we went to the window it was a man there so that was weird, but then after we got our food, we realized that they did not give me the nacho fries I ordered. Instead they gave “Chips N Cheese.” This is literally how the chips came in the bag. Not only did they mess up the order, but they also ruined the presentation of the food. We literally didn’t move the bag and looked inside and our food looked like it was thrown straight into the bag. It wasn’t even in the package that it was supposed to come in. Literally just thrown. Like another review I saw from three weeks and a month ago, the employees either need training or something because it seems they don’t care about the service or customers. After a 12 hour shift I was really forward to the nacho fries 😭
