Upstairs Wine Bar — Restaurant in Colorado Springs

I called at noon today for a reservation at 6pm this evening. I saw their Facebook post asking for reservations, so I did just that. I made specific reservations for their fireplace seating area. There was a backup on the freeway on our way down, so I called them when we were on our way and said we'd be there at 6:05, so please don't give away our spot and they said they wouldn't. At 5:55pm, they called me and said they gave away our spot (not sure how as they open at 6pm) by saying there was another reservation for that spot. WHAT?! We were coming from the north part of town to try you out and were almost to your location. You had 6 hours previously to tell me you double booked or whatever the heck happened but please, for the love, train your staff better. We ended up not going to your place and went to another locally owned small business/resteraunt for dinner. I would have loved to give you our business and $$.... but apparently you staff has no clue what's going on. Thought the owner should know as I would have absolutely sung your praises but alas,...

I just moved to Colorado Springs a few weeks ago, and I was very discouraged looking up wine lists at various restaurants. Most places focus on beer here. Then I found Upstairs Wine Bar. I came in on a busy Friday night, and Robin immediately greeted me and made me feel so welcome. This wine list is AMAZING. So many options, and there are so many by the glass so you don’t have to commit to a bottle. They have cocktails, small plates, and the best ambiance for a casual but refined evening. Michael, a certified sommelier for all the wine lovers out there, introduced me to new and unique wines that I now LOVE. This place is amazing you guys!! Get to Upstairs Wine Bar as fast...

Went there a couple nights ago, and there was only one waiter when there was supposed to be 3. It took an hour to even put in a food order, and required someone in my party to actually go up to the bar because we had not been asked for our order in that hour. We decided to do bottles of wine because figured we would never receive our wine if we did flights. We had to put in our order at the bar again for wine because no one came by to get our order. We ordered a cheese and meat plate, but they forgot the meat plate. It was over 90 minutes before we got our food. The service was downright...
