This is a volunteer-run free museum. It's a smaller museum, with a lot of neat exhibits and Colorado history packed in (mostly 19th century local history). Family friendly, and no lines! There are several restaurants down the block (Slice 420 Pizza, Bon Ton's Cafe, Italian Bistro, Greek Taverna, etc)--stop for lunch and then spend an hour or two at the museum.
