It took 4 separate servers to get my order. I waited close to an hour before my order was taken and that's only because I got up to find someone who could. I was a bit surprised that the order initially was not complete. I ordered a build your omlette, biscuits in gravy, chorizo sausage and sausage links (4). I ordered 4 thinking they were regular size but they came out big and tasty. The side of hashbrowns that came with the omlette was a bit dry, good consistency though. Gravy was decent, it paired well with the biscuit, it was really soft and delicious. I was surprised to see that the chorizo sausage comes grounded instead of whole. The chorizo paired well with my omlette. The servers were very apologetic, and the coffee and water server came by frequently. The last server that took my order checked on me often after the food came in. The order came in promptly, but was incomplete. In the end, I feel that I will give this place another shot before I completely write it off as DNR.

Visited 3/21/21. Nothing special to write home about. Average food above average wait time and above average prices. Waited 40 mins for a table after ordering 1 hr 15 mins for food to arrive. Steak and eggs medium and an eggs benedict with a side of green chili. Steak was over cooked and barely warm, like it sat on plate some time before making it to the table. Eggs were undercooked. Ordered over medium whites were still runny. Toast never showed up to the table. Waitress never made it back to the table to check on us except as described further. After my 18 month old sat quietly for over an hour he did become a little fussy. The waitress then asked my wife if she would wait out side until he was done fussing. Based on food quality and price I would probably would not visit again. Based on asking my wife to wait out side until my 18 month old was done fussing, I will never visit again and advise anyone I know and anyone with small children never to visit.

It saddens me to have to do this, cause I feel like the spot has so much potential. My experience however was anything less then enjoyable. I'm going tontry and give it another cause before I leave Colorado Springs. This review is solely based off of the first impression. I ordered a Moscow Mule to drink. Came in the wrong vessel. Supposed to be in a chilled copper mug, came in a coors beer draft glass. My heart was broken. For my meal I ordered an omelet. Very simple nothing fancy. Took what seemed like an eternity to get it, while parties that were seated after me had gotten their food orders before mine. Once my food did arrive, my omelet was burnt and cheese was melted, that takes culinary skills people. My potatoes were raw but cheese was melted on that. I know makes no damn sense. I truly hope next time things are different

Visited this restaurant 2/10/21. I have been coming here since I was a kid. Their food is usually delicious. I was extremely sad when they closed at the beginning of the pandemic, but was very excited to hear that they were open again! I ordered the build a wrap with chorizo, bacon, mushrooms, bell pepper, and onions, eggs and cheese. Smothered with green chili and upgraded to ranch potatoes instead of hash browns. The extra add ins, green chili, and ranch potatoes cost extra, which is fine because I was pretty hungry and knew their food to be good. The green chili was different and a bit bland but a little salt fixed that. The heat level was nice. I expected the ranch potatoes to be crisped nicely and soft on the inside but they were just mushy and flavorless. I had to add salt and pepper to those as well. The breakfast burrito (build a wrap) was a huge disappointment....it was supposed to have 3 scrambled eggs and all the add ins listed above. Unfortunately it had very little eggs and meat in it. It was mostly mushy potatoes and a whole lot of tortilla. I opened it up and ate what was inside, leaving half of the tortilla and most of the potatoes. The green chili was really the only decent part of this meal, which is disappointing when you pay around 16 dollars for a smothered breakfast burrito. Also, the staff was bickering with each other in front of customers which isn't a huge deal, but it's unprofessional and I could feel the tension between our server and the other staff member. Despite that, our server was very nice and did a great job even though she was 'overwhelmed' as the other staff member loudly stated across the room. I'm glad that they're back in business but also very disappointed that it's not the same. I hope they get it together.....Unfortunately, I likely won't be...

I had this rated as a 5 because we loved it. Went there Sunday at noon. The host asked us where we wanted to sit, and when we said the patio, he told us to seat ourselves. No problem, because there were only 2 of us. Went out and there was nothing open. Again, no problem. Being Sunday, we knew it'd probably be busy. The church crowd was leaving at that point, so it wasn't too busy inside. The problem arose when we waited for over an hour and still had no food. At one point, there were 11 out of 20 tables in our dining room that had no food. Some of the people had been there longer than we had. I'm not sure what the problem was, but they were not slammed. Even the waitress was less than enthused. It took her 10 minutes to acknowledge that we're even there. I heard the table next to us talking about burnt items. I live down the street, and I can promise you that I will NEVER be back and I will never recommend it again. It was that bad. While I'm at it, it needs a facelift. For as much money as that place brings in, they should be able to put a little money into it. After reading the other one star reviews, the owner seems apologetic, but obviously has done zero to address the issue. We don't want an apology, we want good service and don't want it to take an hour to get it. If you have people who can't do the job, guess what, they aren't cut out for it and need...

I have always loved the Western omelet, so this review is written with sadness.

There was a 20 minute wait to be seated, there is no waiting area in or near this place. There were plenty of open tables. There were only two of us, so not a large party. After waiting in our car we go back inside, there is no host to be found. After a few minutes we flag down a passing waitress. She was able to get the host who had told us to wait. He seemed very upset about having a waitress come and grab him and then told us to just find a booth.

Waitress was eventually available to actually come over and maybe take our drink order. The 1st thing that she tells us is that there is an hour and a 1/2 wait between ordering food and it coming out. This place normally has a 20-25 min turn-around on food. You can clearly see they are understaffed.

We asked why would they not tell us that before waiting 20 minutes just to be seated. The waitress advised it was advised that she had told the host.

On my way out I asked the host why they did not say that there is almost a 2 hour wait until there's possibly food. To find out that the host is the owner and that he calls the waitress's liars was really disheartening. The food and service have always been good. Not sure if the owner is just mismanaging the place but I wont be patron to someone who treats their staff and customers...
