Visited this restaurant 2/10/21. I have been coming here since I was a kid. Their food is usually delicious. I was extremely sad when they closed at the beginning of the pandemic, but was very excited to hear that they were open again! I ordered the build a wrap with chorizo, bacon, mushrooms, bell pepper, and onions, eggs and cheese. Smothered with green chili and upgraded to ranch potatoes instead of hash browns. The extra add ins, green chili, and ranch potatoes cost extra, which is fine because I was pretty hungry and knew their food to be good. The green chili was different and a bit bland but a little salt fixed that. The heat level was nice. I expected the ranch potatoes to be crisped nicely and soft on the inside but they were just mushy and flavorless. I had to add salt and pepper to those as well. The breakfast burrito (build a wrap) was a huge disappointment....it was supposed to have 3 scrambled eggs and all the add ins listed above. Unfortunately it had very little eggs and meat in it. It was mostly mushy potatoes and a whole lot of tortilla. I opened it up and ate what was inside, leaving half of the tortilla and most of the potatoes. The green chili was really the only decent part of this meal, which is disappointing when you pay around 16 dollars for a smothered breakfast burrito. Also, the staff was bickering with each other in front of customers which isn't a huge deal, but it's unprofessional and I could feel the tension between our server and the other staff member. Despite that, our server was very nice and did a great job even though she was 'overwhelmed' as the other staff member loudly stated across the room. I'm glad that they're back in business but also very disappointed that it's not the same. I hope they get it together.....Unfortunately, I likely won't be...
Read moreI had this rated as a 5 because we loved it. Went there Sunday at noon. The host asked us where we wanted to sit, and when we said the patio, he told us to seat ourselves. No problem, because there were only 2 of us. Went out and there was nothing open. Again, no problem. Being Sunday, we knew it'd probably be busy. The church crowd was leaving at that point, so it wasn't too busy inside. The problem arose when we waited for over an hour and still had no food. At one point, there were 11 out of 20 tables in our dining room that had no food. Some of the people had been there longer than we had. I'm not sure what the problem was, but they were not slammed. Even the waitress was less than enthused. It took her 10 minutes to acknowledge that we're even there. I heard the table next to us talking about burnt items. I live down the street, and I can promise you that I will NEVER be back and I will never recommend it again. It was that bad. While I'm at it, it needs a facelift. For as much money as that place brings in, they should be able to put a little money into it. After reading the other one star reviews, the owner seems apologetic, but obviously has done zero to address the issue. We don't want an apology, we want good service and don't want it to take an hour to get it. If you have people who can't do the job, guess what, they aren't cut out for it and need...
Read moreI have always loved the Western omelet, so this review is written with sadness.
There was a 20 minute wait to be seated, there is no waiting area in or near this place. There were plenty of open tables. There were only two of us, so not a large party. After waiting in our car we go back inside, there is no host to be found. After a few minutes we flag down a passing waitress. She was able to get the host who had told us to wait. He seemed very upset about having a waitress come and grab him and then told us to just find a booth.
Waitress was eventually available to actually come over and maybe take our drink order. The 1st thing that she tells us is that there is an hour and a 1/2 wait between ordering food and it coming out. This place normally has a 20-25 min turn-around on food. You can clearly see they are understaffed.
We asked why would they not tell us that before waiting 20 minutes just to be seated. The waitress advised it was advised that she had told the host.
On my way out I asked the host why they did not say that there is almost a 2 hour wait until there's possibly food. To find out that the host is the owner and that he calls the waitress's liars was really disheartening. The food and service have always been good. Not sure if the owner is just mismanaging the place but I wont be patron to someone who treats their staff and customers...
