April 10-11th, the older white guy makes extremely sloppy sandwiches. I walk in and see him and I already know my sandwich is going to be gross. I always get sauce on my sandwichs and even when I put ez, there's sauce overflowing and all over the outside of the sandwich.The younger guys who work closings though always make great sandwiches that don't have sauce and toppings outside of the sandwich. Ordered the salami caprese and scheduled it for 7:45-8pm, they marked it ready at 7:30, and that is an extremely saucy sandwich to be making and let sit for that long. They NEVER have my sides or my sandwich cut in half when I order off the app. Literally never once have I ordered and they actually put the kicking ranch in the bag for my order. In spite of the terrible reviews for this place, I ordered for the first time yesterday. I'm an idiot. Online ordering didn't work, so I called to place my order. First I was told I was out of their delivery area. I live 1.1 miles from the store (a 4 minute drive/15 minute walk). Then the girl who answered the phone double-checked and said I was in their delivery area. It took 25 minutes to be delivered. Not exactly "freaky fast", but not a big deal. The bread crust was so hard, it was impossible to eat. Again, not a big deal, but definitely disappointing. The rest of the sandwich was okay right up until the the hair or fuzz or whatever I encountered. Definitely a big deal. What happened to this place??? This store used to be great... Now it’s a mess.
A few nights ago I went in at 8:45 and was told they were closed, even though it said online they were open til 10pm. Ok, no big deal. Sometimes restaurants close a bit early so their staff can go home.
Next day I came back at 3 in the afternoon. They were out of bread. The sandwich shop was out of bread. And they didn’t tell me that until 10 minutes after I placed my order. They gave me a refund with no fuss but why waste my time?
I was thinking I would try again but at this point I don’t really trust the quality of food in a place that is in such disarray. I’ll just avoid this spot going forward, which is...
